LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Megyn Kelly revealed this week that she has faced repeated invitations to travel to Israel but has firmly declined, despite what she described as growing pressure.

Speaking on 'The Megyn Kelly Show' during an interview with Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), the media host said she has received “multiple” requests, including some from political insiders in Washington, urging her to make the trip.

Megyn Kelly says she’s resisting pressure to visit Israel

“I’ve been very pro-Israel and I’ve been very defensive of their right to defend themselves,” Megyn Kelly said.

“But I have absolutely no skin whatsoever in defending any lobbyist group, including AIPAC, so I would love to know what they do to get the loyalty of politicians. I’ve had multiple reach-outs, both from friends and connected people in DC, begging me to go to Israel with them, and I’ve said no every time,” adding, “Usually I’m just too busy. I have three kids, I have a full-time job, like I’m not doing it.”

Kelly explained, “I feels like there’s a contingent of people who are worried that they’re losing me. And I’ve said, ‘You’re not losing me, I’m not on Hamas’ side,’ but it’s been a while now that this has been going on and we’re getting more involved with the Iranian bombing and so on, and my own feelings are, you know, I’m looking at Israel in a different way right now than I was on 10/8, that’s for sure. And I can feel the pressure being slightly ratcheted up,” she said.

Marjorie Taylor Greene highlights influence of media voices

Marjorie Taylor Greene responded by emphasizing Megyn Kelly’s reach. “Well, you’re a person of very big influence. you’ve got a big voice, you’ve got a large audience,” the Georgia Republican said, noting that influencers are often targeted for such trips, saying, “They also take a lot of influencers. They invite tons of influencers.”

Kelly agreed, saying she had been invited by groups of peers planning collective visits. “They seem to be coming at me from a number of ways, which only really raises my hackles. Like, I’m not going! I’m going to stay right here. I can cover this conflict from here and I don’t wish to be wooed by any side. I actually don’t wish to be persuaded,” she said.

Last month, in an interview on 'Piers Morgan Uncensored,' she criticized the country’s military campaign in Gaza, warning that it had cost Israel its global image.

“They have made themselves the villain of the world,” Kelly argued. “They have lost support amongst their dearest friends. And they’re losing Republicans by the day here in America, which is their most important ally. So whether the fight continues to be just or not is almost irrelevant.”

Internet buzzes after Megyn Kelly says she rejected repeated pleas to visit Israel

Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly has stirred a wave of online discussion after revealing that she turned down multiple requests to travel to Israel. The revelation, made during a recent conversation, quickly spread across social media and drew a mix of skepticism, criticism, and mockery.

One user suggested there was more beneath the surface, writing, “She refused? Then clearly they have nothing on her... yet.” Another added, “Supporting a major ally doesn’t make us slaves.”

Others mocked the binary framing of the debate. “‘You’re not losing me, I’m not on Hamas’ side.’ Imagine being such a simpleton that you have to either support Israel or Hamas,” one person posted.

Some critics took issue with her words directly. “So @megynkelly just said, ‘I know you don’t have anything against Israel’ to @mtgreenee who accuses Israel of genocide. Why lie, Megyn?” another wrote.

Accusations of opportunism also surfaced. “Her support only changed because everyone is calling her BS out! Don’t get it twisted, she still takes money from the Israeli lobby,” one user claimed.

Others dismissed the entire controversy. “Why would anyone give a sh*t if Megyn Kelly goes to Israel or not?” another asked.
