LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: While they may be rivals in the late-night TV world, Seth Meyers left no room for doubt that he's firmly on Team Jimmy Kimmel in the Kimmel-Aaron Rodgers feud.

During an interview with ET's Kevin Frazier on the red carpet at the 75th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, held at LA, Meyers didn't need many words to convey his frustration on behalf of his fellow late-night host.

'Not good. I didn't care for it'

When asked about the feud, Meyers expressed, "Not good. I didn't care for it. I'll leave it at that."

After Rodgers made his contentious claim about Kimmel being on Jeffrey Epstein's list on ESPN's 'The Pat McAfee Show', McAfee issued an apology; while Rodgers later walked back his claim in a follow-up appearance, he did not apologize for the remark.

In response, Kimmel criticized Rodgers in his monologue on the first day back from the holiday break on his show.

The feud revolves around Rodgers making an appearance on 'The Pat McAfee Show' and falsely suggesting that Kimmel would be named in the unredacted court documents related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

However, when the documents were made public earlier this month, Kimmel's name was not listed.

Kimmel delivered a scathing comment, saying, "This hamster-brained man thinks he knows what the government is up to because he's a quarterback doing research on YouTube and listening to podcasts. Aaron Rodgers is too arrogant to know how ignorant he is. They let him host Jeopardy! for two weeks, and now he knows everything."

'I have so much respect for my peers' says Meyers

Meanwhile, Seth Meyers was among the Emmy nominees for Outstanding Variety Talk Series, competing against Jimmy Kimmel (Jimmy Kimmel Live!), Trevor Noah (The Daily Show), Stephen Colbert (Late Night With Stephen Colbert), and John Stewart (The Problem With John Stewart).

Trevor Noah’s final ‘Daily Show’ season grabed the win later in the night.

Meyers expressed that being nominated in the category and being recognized by his peers was a significant compliment, as per Entertainment Online

Meyers shared his appreciation, stating, "It's great, and I have so much respect for my peers in the category, this year more than ever because a bunch of us did a podcast together during the writers strike."

He referred to his joint podcast with Colbert and Fallon, which aimed to support workers affected by the writers strike.

Meyers added, "More likely than not, one of those guys will be up there receiving the award, and I'll be very happy for them".
