‘Nothing to see there!’: Jimmy Kimmel pokes fun at Trump's latest White House antics
WASHINGTON, DC: Jimmy Kimmel tore into President Donald Trump on Monday, November 17, alleging that Trump twisted the arms of his Republican allies behind the scenes to keep a lid on the Jeffrey Epstein files.

According to Kimmel, Trump spent a lot of time and effort leaning hard on congressional Republicans to block a discharge petition that would spill the goods. “Which is exactly what someone who’s totally innocent and has nothing to hide would do,” he quipped.
Now that the discharge petition is expected to breeze through the House, Trump is all for releasing the files tied to Epstein.
The saga notably created a rift between Trump and one of his most loyal allies, Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga). The president even yanked his endorsement and blasted her on Truth Social as “Wacky Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown (Remember, Green turns to Brown when there is ROT involved!)”
Kimmel joked about that too. “He’s so upset he couldn’t even come up with a decent nickname for her,” he said.
Politico’s Jake Taylor revealed that music from The Phantom of the Opera was thundering so loudly from the White House on Friday afternoon that people outside could hear it.
Kimmel couldn't resist poking fun at the scene. “Nothing to see there,” he quipped. “Just the president alone in the White House blasting ‘Phantom of the Opera’ at full volume while rage tweeting about how everybody’s out to get him.”
Trump has apparently been having a field day with a new White House speaker system hooked up to his iPad. Along with the Broadway playlist, Trump reportedly also queued up an Elton John classic.
"The music he’s playing is ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me,’” Kimmel noted. “But don’t read anything into that.”

AFP correspondent Danny Kemp later reported that “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown was also booming outside the building.
When Trump debuted new Rose Garden speakers
In August, Trump debuted those shiny new outdoor speakers in the freshly remodeled Rose Garden. Reporters were escorted into the garden by press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
The hits included Lee Greenwood’s "God Bless the USA," Pavarotti’s “Nessun dorma,” Elvis Presley’s “Are You Lonesome Tonight,” and Joe Cocker’s “You Are So Beautiful.”
Trump emerged from the Oval Office at one point, fist-pumping to the music and pointing proudly at the revamped garden.

According to Leavitt, the soundtrack was just a test run. “The president wanted me to let all of you know that he is testing the speakers for what will be the best event in the history of the White House,” she announced at the time.

She revealed that Trump was controlling the music from his iPad inside the Oval Office while also conducting meetings.
Trump apparently hinted that the first shindig on the new patio might actually be for the press.
Leavitt teased, “He said, ‘Maybe we’ll do that.’”
