Internet concerned as doctors question Biden's mental competency after Hur report's damning revelations
WASHINGTON, DC: Medical experts are urging President Joe Biden to undergo a mental competency evaluation following the release of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on Thursday, February 8.
The 388-page report, which investigated allegations of Biden's wrongful retention of classified documents, revealed that the 81-year-old commander-in-chief had difficulty recalling basic facts about his life and career during two days of interviews in October, last year.

Specifically, the report noted that Biden “did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died” and “did not remember when he was vice president.”
Joe Biden has been reluctant to undergo mental acuity tests
Dr. Stuart Fischer, a primary care physician at a nursing home in the Bronx, shared with the New York Post, “Something isn’t right, and even if it’s minor, it must be explained to the public.”
“The horse is out of the barn. Not only does (Biden) have an infirmity of some degree, but he has delayed producing objective evidence,” Fischer added, arguing that “no one is buying” the president’s justification for his memory lapses.

Despite being the oldest president in the history of the United States, President Biden has been reluctant to undergo mental acuity tests, despite repeated demands from his detractors.
This is compounded by consistent polling that has verified that the majority of Americans also share these concerns regarding the incumbent POTUS.

In February of last year, the White House released the results of Biden's most recent physical exam, which stated that he was “fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency."
However, it failed to mention Biden undergoing any cognitive test or an evaluation of his mental fitness.

During a press conference on Friday, February 9, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre informed reporters that she had recently conversed with the President's physician, Kevin O'Connor, who had stated that “because of the president’s actions every day, what he deals with — with world leaders, the domestic issues that he has to deal with — that shows that the president is very much active and understands what’s going on and [O’Connor] didn’t believe a test like that was warranted because of, just who he is as president of the United States and everything he has to deal with.”
“But again, I’m not a medical doctor,” the White House press secretary remarked.
Though Fischer emphasized that he is not Biden's doctor and that his remarks do not amount to a diagnosis, he said that Biden exhibits "signs of symptoms" that may point to an "infectious disease or fatigue."

"I don't know how this man can have anything more than a mild schedule," the doctor said, "because the more he pushes himself, the more difficult it is for an 81-year-old body to respond."
The issue of President Biden's age has been a topic of concern for some, extending beyond his memory.
During his time in office, he has experienced several falls, including an incident during the Air Force Academy's commencement exercises in Colorado and a fall off his bike while on vacation in Delaware.

Recent reports suggest that he has opted for the smaller stairs while boarding or exiting Air Force One as a precautionary measure against potential slips.
He has also chosen to wear sneakers in recent months for added comfort.
President Biden's potential 2024 opponents, Donald Trump, 77, and Nikki Haley, 52, have consistently advocated for politicians to undergo mental competency assessments.

The Hur report has prompted both individuals to reiterate their demands, as Trump senior adviser Jason Miller told the outlet, “Biden’s not going to be any sharper in November.”
On the other hand, Nikki Haley released a video on her social media account highlighting South Carolinians agreeing with her push for mental competency tests for politicians over age 75.
Internet sounds the alarm on a potential Joe Biden second-term
People on X expressed their concerns regarding President Joe Biden's frail physical and mental health as evidenced by the comprehensive report by Special Counsel Robert Hur that came out Thursday.

Another user remarked, "NOW they call for a test?"
"How many have been suggesting that for well over 3 years. It's never been right. Folks were censored on socials, and had accounts suspended. Turns out many were correct all along," another user claimed.

One user stated, "There's no Constitutional authority for cognitive exams for people running for office or in office. But you could do this via campaign pressure. If candidates start willingly taking these tests as part of running for office, those who refuse to take it will stand out poorly."
