LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Former NFL star OJ Simpson stood in front of the world during the "trial of the century" and persuaded the jury that he did not murder his ex-wife Nicole Brown, and her friend Ron Goldman.

For the first time, however, Daily Mail has revealed that a key police witness claimed OJ Simpson to be present at the murder site as well as claiming the NFL star planned the murder by hiring Gambino gangsters to carry out the murder.

Witness alleged OJ Simpson was present at the murder site but remained silent for 30 years

According to sources, former NFL player Simpson, 76—who lost his battle with prostate cancer on Wednesday, April 10—reportedly made no bombshell revelations about the unsolved 1994 killings on his deathbed.

Finally, a man, who claims to know who killed Brown and Goldman, has come clean in a bombshell disclosure that follows 30 years of silence, including going to jail for refusing to answer questions from a grand jury.

According to MailOnline, John Dunton, 62, broke his decades-long silence by admitting on video that Simpson and four thugs from the Gambino crime family—which the late NFL star hired to kill his ex-wife Nicole Brown—were there at the scene of the double murder.

Despite having spoken to LA police at first following the horrific double murder, Dunton eventually stopped talking after mobsters forced him to his knees, put a gun in his mouth, and threatened to kill him and his family if he mentioned the murders with anyone else.

To reveal the truth to the public about what truly transpired, Dunton has gallantly waited 30 years for the deaths of several mafia gangsters and Simpson—the man at the center of it all.

Simpson went on trial on June 12, 1994, for the savage killings of his 35-year-old ex-wife Brown, and her 25-year-old lover Ron Goldman.

Brown suffered seven stab wounds to her scalp and neck. She was severed in such a vicious way that she was found lying in a puddle of blood in the fetal position.

Witness claimed OJ Simpson had '100 per cent' hired thugs for 1994 killings

Speaking with 75-year-old Hollywood private investigator Paul Barresi—who represents several prominent individuals like Sharon Stone and Amber Heard—John Dunton declared that Simpson had sole responsibility for the killings.

When asked if Simpson gave the mob money to murder his ex-wife, Dunton replied, "100 per cent. The four guys that came, they were members of the Gambino family."

"They were involved in all kinds of stuff. You know what the mob does. The bottom line is everything was done with OJ's direction. That's what happened," Dunton added.

"He was there," he continued, before adding, "I don't know what he did, but he was there. He knew these guys were going over to Nicole's house to kill her. He wanted to be there. I don't know why."

The infamous 'Five Families', the Gambino criminal family, who controlled the New York underworld, also posed a threat to Dunton.

"The guy that put the gun in my mouth, he f***ing whacked several people and if he whacked me it wouldn't be any different. He also said they'd whack my family too," Dunton revealed.

"When they threw me down on my knees and made me cross my ankles over and put a gun all the way down my mouth, it was scary," he added.

Dunton declined to reveal the identity of the mobster who had threatened him, even if he was aware of it because the man is "still alive" despite being "old."

Dunton stopped speaking with authorities after he and his family received threats. "I didn't say anything," he continued, before adding, "When OJ got out of jail he called me two or three times. I didn't talk to him. I didn't want to meet. I just hung up."
