LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hollywood is reeling from the heartbreaking news of Pamela Bach Hasselhoff’s tragic demise.

The 62-year-old actress and ex-wife of David Hasselhoff was found dead in her Hollywood Hills home on Wednesday night, March 5, as the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. One of her daughters—believed to be Hayley Hasselhoff, 32—was reportedly the one to discover her body.

Neighbors describe scene outside Pamela Bach Hasselhoff’s home

According to neighbor Hiromi Osiecki, the scene was absolute chaos. She told the Daily Mail that she saw paramedics arrive around 9 pm and heard a young woman “screaming and crying” as she moved in and out of the house in a state of hysteria.

"She was hysterical, yelling, screaming, crying on the street. She was crying, saying, ‘I just want to get my car,’” Osiecki recalled.

“A little later, she came out with police. I heard her crying, and somebody was trying to comfort her,” she continued. “Police tried to bring her in the house and close the door, but the door got opened. She was in and out a few times.” Osiecki “couldn’t see what was going on in the house” but saw the young woman come out “crying like crazy.”

Osiecki and her husband, John Osiecki, said that Hayley had lived with Pamela about a decade ago and that they recognized her Mercedes parked in the driveway. They also claimed that while the mother and daughter shared a home, paramedics and police were frequently called to the residence, though the reason was unclear.

Hiromi last saw Pamela just two days before her death, taking out the trash. She recalled that the actress "looked sad," though her husband said her death still came as a shock because she was usually "chatty" and “would talk to a lot of people when she walked her dogs.”

Despite the tragic circumstances, law enforcement sources told TMZ that the former 'Baywatch' star did not leave a suicide note.

Pamela’s death leaves behind her two daughters—Hayley, 32, and Taylor Hasselhoff, 34—whom she shared with David Hasselhoff, 72. The couple was married for 17 years, from 1989 to 2006, before their bitter divorce.

Pamela’s agent Sharon Kelly and her ex David Hasselhoff break their silence

Pamela Hasselhoff’s agent, Sharon Kelly, expressed her condolences over the tragedy. "I am in shock and still processing the loss of my dear client," she told Page Six, calling Pamela a "force of nature."

She continued, "My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters and granddaughter, who Pamela constantly gushed about and loved so dearly. Pamela often talked about how very proud she was of both her daughters and what they have blossomed into."

Kelly wanted the world to know that above all else, Pamela was a “proud mama” who "will be truly missed."

David Hasselhoff, who has remained relatively quiet about his ex-wife in recent years, expressed grief in a social media statement.

"Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult period but kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time," he wrote.

A rocky post-divorce relationship

Although David and Pamela Hasselhoff’s love story was once the talk of Hollywood, their post-divorce years were anything but smooth. Following their 2006 split, David had long complained about the hefty alimony payments he was required to make to Pamela.

For years, the 'Knight Rider' star fought to reduce his monthly payments—which at one point were a staggering $21,000 per month. In 2017, it was reported that the former couple had finally agreed to a reduced sum of $5,000 per month.

By that time, David claimed he had already paid over $2.5 million to his ex-wife since their divorce was finalized.

The former 'America’s Got Talent' judge has had his fair share of public struggles over the years. David temporarily lost visitation rights with his daughters after a viral video surfaced of him drunkenly eating a burger on the floor—a video shot by one of his own daughters.

The scandal put his relationship with his kids under intense scrutiny, but his visitation rights were restored after two weeks. At the time, David acknowledged that the video captured him during an alcohol relapse, though he denied any allegations of abuse.

In 2018, he married model Hayley Roberts.
