LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Paris Hilton has long been known for her iconic “ditzy” persona, but in a recent interview, the socialite and DJ surprised fans by briefly revealing her true voice shifting away from the character she's maintained for years.

Hilton, 43, rose to stardom in the early 2000s alongside her best friend Nicole Richie in 'The Simple Life', where they were portrayed as out-of-touch heiresses living with middle-class families, reported UNILAD.

Hilton recently shared that she chose to showcase her "real voice" in her 2024 album 'Infinite Icon', inspired by the support of Sia.

Reflecting on the persona she'd maintained for years, Hilton opened up in an interview with Nylon, explaining, "In the beginning, it was kind of a trauma response, where I wanted to create this perfect Barbie doll life because of what I went through as a teenager." Hilton explained. "I hate even calling them 'schools'. This was a protective mask," she stated.

Hilton has since become an advocate for children’s rights, particularly for those subjected to abusive conditions in such schools. She has campaigned for reform, including speaking before a US House committee, where she also revealed her “real” voice to the public.

Crediting her 'Infinite Icon' producer and singer Sia for encouraging her to use her "real voice" while singing Hilton explained, "Sia really pushed me to sing with my real voice, like how I talk in real life."

In an interview on 'First We Feast', where Hilton discussed her favorite snacks, the moment fans had been waiting for happened. As Hilton excitedly mentioned her love for cereals like Lucky Charms and Rice Krispies, her “real” voice slipped through, leaving fans in awe of the unguarded moment.

The video quickly went viral, sparking conversations about the contrast between her public persona and the voice she’s used to speak her truth.

Hilton’s new music project, 'Infinite Icon', also marks a departure from her previous image.
