BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: The glitz and glamour of the 2024 Golden Globe Awards saw a nostalgic reunion as members of the iconic Pearson Hardman law firm from the hit series 'Suits' graced the red carpet. Amid the celebrations, actor Patrick Adams dropped a tantalizing hint about a potential 'Suits' spinoff.

On the red carpet, Patrick Adams, who portrayed the charismatic Mike Ross on 'Suits,' spilled the beans about a probable project within the 'Suits' universe. While clarifying that it's not a revival, Adams shared, "I think it’s all in early stages. But what did they say? It’s a show in the ‘Suits’ universe. Like a ‘Suits LA'."

Adams expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Our fearless showrunner Aaron’s working on that. And if we got the phone call, if I got the phone call, I’m ready to suit up again. I love the show, I love the character. And I loved working with all these people." He added that the potential spinoff would be a "completely separate world within the 'Suits' world".

Amid the buzz, speculations arose about Meghan Markle, Adams' co-star and the Duchess of Sussex, making a return to the series. Adams hinted at the possibility, saying, "Sure. Mike and Rachel in Seattle. They gotta come down to LA, they gotta fix some stuff."

Acknowledging Markle's popularity, he teased, "She’s pretty popular right now. Did you hear about Meghan? I’ll tell you later," in a playful manner.

'Suits,' which originally aired from 2011 to 2019, enjoyed a resurgence in popularity after joining Netflix in June, breaking viewership records. Markle's departure in 2018 marked a significant moment for the show, and since then, the universe expanded with the short-lived spinoff 'Pearson' in 2019.

The latest venture, described as an untitled series, was announced in October 2023, and it's reported to be an extension of the 'Suits' universe. Creator Aaron Korsh is collaborating with NBC Universal for this new endeavor, which is neither a reboot nor a spinoff of the original series.

Former 'Suits' star Meghan Markle, now the Duchess of Sussex, opted out of a potential reunion with her former co-stars at the 2024 Golden Globes, where the iconic legal drama series was celebrated. Markle reportedly declined the invitation due to a prior commitment.

Despite the excitement surrounding the 'Suits' reunion at the Beverly Hilton in California, Markle's absence was noticeable. The Duchess of Sussex was invited to join her former co-stars Patrick J. Adams, Gina Torres, Sarah Rafferty, and Gabriel Macht in presenting the award for Best Television Series Drama to the cast and crew of 'Succession'.

"We asked, but we were told that, unfortunately, she had a previous commitment," revealed an insider to Page Six, confirming Markle's decision to forgo the Golden Globes event.

Markle played the character Rachel Zane for seven seasons on 'Suits,' a role that contributed to the show's success. Recently breaking streaming records on Netflix, 'Suits' continues to capture the attention of audiences worldwide.

The cast members maintain an active group chat to stay connected, as revealed by Gina Torres in an interview with Variety.

"When it all came through, we were all texting each other," Torres shared, expressing the excitement within the cast. "Yes, our text thread is insane right now."

Torres said on the red carpet before being asked if Meghan was a part of the chat. “We don’t have her number. We just don’t.”
