Despite his claim of inactivity, the account’s last post before this week's game came on November 15, 2024, featuring a throwback photo of a young Patrick Mahomes Jr with his father at a baseball game, noted Daily Mail.

The account has been sporadically active over the past three years, posting only a few times annually.

In a separate Instagram post, Mahomes Sr reiterated that his account had been compromised and clarified his stance regarding the Buffalo Bills.

"Attention: Patrick Mahomes Sr.'s X account has been compromised," he wrote.

"The Mahomes family holds the utmost respect for the @BuffaloBills organization and the Bills Mafia fan base. We are actively working to resolve this issue. Thank you for your understanding," the post added.

Patrick Mahomes Sr's past legal issues come under the spotlight again

In addition to the controversial post about Buffalo Bills, Patrick Mahomes Sr tweeted from his X account, "SEE YOU SOON NOLA!!!," and "Felling this energy today!!" along with a photo of himself and Mahomes Jr in Chiefs gear.

The account further quote-tweeted a Kansas City Chiefs post featuring Mahomes Jr, adding, "THAT'S MY BOY!!"

Mahomes Sr has been in the headlines previously. Last year, he was arrested by the Tyler Police Department on February 3, 2024, just eight days before his son won the Super Bowl for the Chiefs in Las Vegas.

He was later taken to the Smith County Jail and released on a $10,000 bond. Despite the incident, he attended the Super Bowl and watched his son win his third championship ring as the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime.

In June, Mahomes Sr was arrested again in Texas for driving on a suspended license. However, in early August, he marked six months of sobriety.
