Travis Kelce loses Super Bowl memorabilia and jewelry in mansion break-in leaving Taylor Swift upset
LEAWOOD, KANSAS: Last month’s burglary at Travis Kelce’s home took away many precious things from him, including Super Bowl memorabilia and jewelry worth $100,000, leaving Taylor Swift feeling “bad” for her beau.
The burglary at Kelce’s Leawood home happened hours after Patrick Mahomes’ property in Belton, Missouri, was targeted by burglars on October 6, as reported by The Sun.
The 35-year-old football tight end’s property was burglarized on October 7, just before the Chiefs and New Orleans Saints were about to begin a Football matchup at Arrowhead Stadium.
Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes ‘got really mad’ after burglaries
An insider close to Travis Kelce's entourage shared, “That was a massive surprise for all of them, as they really never thought it would happen to them.”
They continued, “That was a very, very frustrating moment, and both Kelce and Mahomes got really mad it happened, and that intruders got into their properties that they consider their 'safe-haven' and 'safe place' as they are always under the spotlights and always traveling."
“The Mahomes got really angry as Brittany felt really bad that people got into their privacy, into their private spaces, and felt really bad about it for a bit.”
The publication reported that the robbers not only stole expensive jewelry items from Kelce’s place but also looted “his first Super Bowl jersey.”
“Travis got upset as they stole some important items, including his first Super Bowl jersey, and to have someone get into his private home is something he really got uncomfy about,” the tipster revealed.
The insider also disclosed that though the Grammy-winning singer’s belongings were not stolen from her boyfriend’s house, she “felt bad for what happened.”
She “felt bad for her man and for the Mahomes,” they stated.
Patrick Mahomes worried for his family’s safety
Patrick Mahomes was reportedly robbed of awards, jerseys, medals, trophies, and other items. The burglars also took away his wife Brittany Mahomes’ jewelry and designer bags.
The 29-year-old football quarterback said in a statement that the incident was “frustrating.”
“It's disappointing, but I can't get into too many details because the investigation is still ongoing. Obviously, something that you don't want to have happen to really anybody, but obviously yourself,” he added.
Besides, the tipster noted that the robbery “really bothered them [Patrick and Brittany] a lot, especially her, as she always wants her safe space and her family and kids to be in the safest places 24/7, and home is their sanctuary in the middle of the super active life they have.”
