Patrick Mahomes says he's 'done' having children after wife Brittany Mahomes announces third pregnancy
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Speaking from Kansas City Chiefs training camp on Tuesday, July 16, Patrick Mahomes declared that he and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, don't plan on having any more children.
In a touching Instagram post last week, the couple announced they were expecting their third child. Brittany posted a video of them posing with their daughter, Sterling Skye, three, and son, Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III, 18 months, in white and cream outfits, holding sonograms. Her caption read, "Round three, here we come."
Patrick Mahomes looked forward to having children at a young age
Patrick Mahomes told the reporters, "I'm done, I'll say that."
The 28-year-old quarterback added, "I said three [children] and I'm done. It's great. I've always wanted to start a family early. Growing up in the locker room with my dad [former professional baseball player Patrick Mahomes Sr], as I've mentioned before, had a huge impact on me. So, having kids young was something I looked forward to, and now we're expecting a third to join our family."
"And Brittany does a great job of doing that and we still go out and enjoy our life, and let our kids see these great things," noted Patrick.
In early July, the Mahomes family shared snapshots on Instagram from their memorable summer vacation spanning Spain, Switzerland, and England. During their time in England, the couple even attended Wimbledon.

Patrick mentioned that despite their busy schedules, they always find moments for themselves.
Recently, they traveled to Europe to attend Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. Moreover, Patrick joined his teammate and close friend, Travis Kelce, for a round of golf in London.
Currently, the quarterback has returned to Kansas City, where his team is aiming for an unprecedented third consecutive NFL championship.
Patrick further told the reporters, "I spend so much time in the building, at football for these seven, eight months. And whenever I'm with my family I wanna enjoy those moments."
