During the conversation, he praised the 36-year-old actor, saying, “He’s a great dad. Father of four.”
“Four under what, 7? Which is nuts,” he added.
Davidson also revealed that while they were filming 'How to Rob a Bank', his ex-girlfriend Elsie Hewitt was pregnant with their daughter, Scottie, who was born in December 2025.
“Elsie was pregnant while we were filming and he just had his twins, and he would fly back every weekend to go see his family, and that was very inspiring and awesome,” he added.
Nicholas Hoult jokes about parenting and Hollywood fame
Elsewhere in the interview, Hoult joked that he makes sure his children know just how famous he is.

“What do you want for breakfast? Don’t forget dad’s a big famous actor. I don’t have time to cook you breakfast or get you cereal because I’m so important,” he said.
Although the 'Warm Bodies' actor and his 33-year-old wife prefer to keep their family life private, he spoke about his eldest son during the press tour for 'Superman'.
The 'Skins' alum revealed that his son got the clippers out to help him shave his head for his role as the villain Lex Luthor.
“It's growing back gradually. Yeah, but I did shave my head, which I find quite liberating whenever I've done it for roles. I kind of enjoyed that. This time, I let my older son get the clippers out and do it for me, which was [fun],” he added.
Nicholas Hoult opens up about fatherhood
In 2022, the 36-year-old actor revealed that he “quite enjoy[s] cooking when I'm not working. When I'm working, I just don't cook at all basically, and then when I get time off I like to putter around in the kitchen. I'm not very good, but I like to do it.”

Speaking about his son, Hoult added, “You know what? You get honest, instant feedback from a 4-year-old. He will turn straight around, and he's like, 'This isn't very good, Dad.’ But then when you do get it right and you cook something great, you get a big thumbs-up. It's a great age.”
