Plane makes emergency landing as man wearing 15 masks yells LGBTQ people are giving him cancer

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: A Sun Country flight had to make an emergency landing after a passenger wearing "no less than 15 face masks" allegedly began screaming that the LGBTQ community was giving him cancer.
The Newark, New Jersey-bound flight took off from Minneapolis-St Paul at 7.13 am on Friday, October 3, and was due to land just before 9.45 am.
However, over an hour later, the plane was forced to divert to the Chicago O’Hare International Airport after a passenger allegedly went on a midair rampage.
Eyewitnesses claim man screamed 'the plane is going down'
Eyewitnesses said the passenger started screaming, "The plane is going down," while also ranting about the LGBTQ community.
Meanwhile, the flight was ordered back to earth "as a precaution in response to a disruptive passenger," a Sun Country Airlines spokesperson informed The Minnesota Star Tribune.
The man, who went on a midair rampage, at one point told passengers, "Trump is here."

Seth Evans, a passenger making his way from Minnesota back to New York City, informed reporters that he had been sitting just across the aisle from the passenger who was wearing at least 15 masks.
Evans further described how chaos began as soon as the plane took off from Minneapolis.
He mentioned that the man would abruptly jump out of his seat between rounds of Candy Crush, erupting into screams about being "radiated" by the LGBTQ community.
Co-passenger recalls man ranting about being 'gang chased' by LGBTQ people
Seth Evans also told reporters that at one point, the man began ranting about being "gang chased" and "cooked" by LGBTQ people, which he said had been causing him to suffer from cancer.
The passenger raved on board the flight, but it was not until he said "the plane is going down" that the flight was forced to divert to the Chicago O’Hare International Airport, where he was handcuffed and removed by Chicago police.

In the meantime, the aircraft, which was packed with frustrated passengers, remained motionless on the runway after the passengers were told to stay in their seats while US Marshals and cops questioned them about the incident.
In a statement, Sun Country Airlines explained, "The flight landed without incident, and the passenger in question was turned over to law enforcement and removed from the aircraft."
"We appreciate our passengers’ patience during the interruption to their travels, and the flight is continuing on to Newark this morning," the airlines added. The FBI has taken up the case.

The incident took place just days after a woman, Ketty J Dilone, was duct-taped to her seat by the crew of a Las Vegas-bound flight following a bizarre rant where she allegedly admitted trying to poison her father.
The woman walked through the cabin shouting and threatening multiple flight attendants on September 16, the United States Attorney’s Office District of Nevada stated.
