Pope Leo's brother shared video calling Nancy Pelosi a 'c**t' and scolding liberals 'crying' over tariffs

PORT CHARLOTTE, FLORIDA: Pope Leo XIV's elder brother, Louis Prevost, once shared a video on his social media calling Rep Nancy Pelosi a "c***" and scolding "f*****g liberals" for crying about tariffs.
Pope Leo's old social media posts resurfaced recently and showed that he had been an avid critic of President Donald Trump and his administration. Meanwhile, his elder brother has made no secret of supporting the POTUS, using his Facebook account to share MAGA memes and screeds, as per The Daily Beast.

The post also mentioned a conspiracy theory about the 85-year-old Democrat's husband, Paul Pelosi, being romantically involved with the man who broke into their home and attacked him with a hammer, per the outlet.

Prevost's reshared post was from a Facebook user who wrote, "These f*****g liberals crying about tariffs is just unreal. Do they not know that there is a thing called video? Just listen to what this drunk c*** has to say in the mid 90’s long before her husband had Grindr dates."
Interestingly, other reposts of Prevost included a meme showing a mental institution with the caption, "Where the woke lived before the ’70s", and a post with the caption, "Please pray for the 33% who approve of Biden, that they be healed of their mental affliction."

The pope's elder brother told The New York Times in a recent interview that his brother’s election came as a shock and joked, "Jeez, it was like just yesterday, I was throwing him down the stairs. And now he’s pope!"
Moreover, he also told the outlet that while he and his brother disagreed sometimes, he isn’t as much of a pacifist as his brother, and thinks that Pope Leo XIV will be "a little more conservative" than his predecessor, Pope Francis, according to The Daily Beast.
Pope Leo's past criticism of the Trump administration
As Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost was elected the new pope, his past criticism of President Donald Trump and his administration resurfaced online.
Pope Leo XIV recently retweeted a post criticizing the Trump administration's deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was sent to an El Salvador prison.

Moreover, the post contained a link to an article from the website Catholic Standard that compared the plights and persecutions faced by immigrant and refugee communities to the Passion of Jesus Christ, according to Rolling Stone.

Furthermore, a verified X account linked to the new pope shared an article in February criticizing Vice President JD Vance, who converted to Catholicism in 2019, over his interpretation of Jesus' teachings.
"JD Vance is wrong: Jesus doesn’t ask us to rank our love for others," read the headline of the National Catholic Reporter article shared from his X account.
Congratulations to Leo XIV, the first American Pope, on his election! I’m sure millions of American Catholics and other Christians will pray for his successful work leading the Church. May God bless him!

However, Vance, in an X post on May 8, congratulated the new pope and wrote, "I’m sure millions of American Catholics and other Christians will pray for his successful work leading the Church."
