Post Malone and ex-fiancee Hee Sung 'Jamie' Park embroiled in custody battle over two-year-old daughter

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Post Malone and his former fiancee are currently involved in a legal battle for the custody of their daughter.
The rapper and Hee Sung "Jamie" Park had the child in May 2022, who is now two and a half years old, and only identified as "DDP," as reported by People.
Park has sought primary physical custody of her while also demanding joint legal custody in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday, April 16.

Post Malone scores a small victory in custody battle
She’s, however, open to giving Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, visitation rights.
Not only that, the mother of the child is also seeking the 29-year-old’s money to cover her legal charges.
However, it has been said that Malone has achieved a small victory amid the legal issue.
Two days before Park filed her papers, the ‘Pour Me A Drink’ singer had already submitted documents in Utah, and as reported by TMZ, the case will now proceed there only.

The publication also reported that Malone will be able to save money in Utah because the state's child support payments are less than in California.
Post Malone revealed the news of his daughter's birth on Howard Stern's show in June 2022
Hee Sung "Jamie" Park reportedly shifted to California earlier this year after she and Post Malone split c.
In June 2022, Malone, who is now reportedly dating Parsons School of Design student Christy Lee, proudly announced the birth of his daughter as well as his engagement.
On ‘The Howard Stern Show’, he shared, as reported by Page Six, “[At] 2.30 in the afternoon, I went and I kissed my baby girl.”
When Stern asked, “What baby girl? Are you referring to your girlfriend or you have a baby?” he replied, “No, that’s my daughter.”

Post Malone said fatherhood ‘slowed’ down his partying
Besides, in May 2022, Post Malone told TMZ, “I'm excited for this next chapter in my life, I'm the happiest I've ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad."
"Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day," he added.
Then, in May 2023, the record producer spoke about fatherhood.
He revealed, as reported by E! News, “It’s really slowed me down a lot, party-wise, going out and being crazy. I never really got time or really had the bandwidth to experience the journey to its fullest. So I guess that's what I'm trying to do now.”
