MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently launched their new Sussex website. Earlier it was called sussexroyal.com but now it was later renamed as sussex.com, The Independent reported.

Archie and Lilibet get new surnames

The couple's children — Archie and Lilibet — have also gotten new surnames, The Sun reported. Earlier, the children were called Archie and Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor but after King Charles’ coronation, they will be called Archie and Lilibet Sussex.

Harry and Meghan have reportedly written the new surname for their son and daughter on the website as well.

As per a source who spoke with The Times, “The reality behind the new site is very simple — it’s a hub for the work the Sussexes do and it reflects the fact the family have, since the King’s coronation, the same surname for the first time.”

They added, “That’s a big deal for any family. It represents their unification and it’s a proud moment.”

Harry’s bio says, “Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex is a humanitarian, military veteran, mental health advocate, and environmental campaigner. He has dedicated his adult life to advancing causes that he is passionate about and that advance permanent change for people and places.”

It also notes, “He co-founded THE ARCHEWELL FOUNDATION, alongside his wife, Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, to serve communities in need. At The Archewell Foundation, The Duke and Duchess are committed to their mission: Show Up, Do Good.”

Meghan’s intro reads, “Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex is a feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity. Her lifelong advocacy for women and girls remains a constant thread in her humanitarian and business ventures.”

Royal family reportedly not happy with changes in sussex.com

However, the royal family is reportedly not happy with the changes. A mole said, as per The New York Post, “Buckingham Palace may have its hands tied in taking action. [King Charles] has other things he needs to focus on at the moment, and the last thing His Majesty needs is another fight with his son. But this won’t go down well at all.”

Another one added, “Basically their big rebrand puts being royal first. Ultimately, this is a rebranding for Meghan. They just can’t quite bring themselves to drop all the trappings that come courtesy of the institution they spend their whole time moaning about.”
