Prince Harry fulfills LA fire victim’s request with heartfelt gesture while remaining anonymous
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry won hearts with his generous act toward a Los Angeles fire victim following his and Meghan Markle's visit to the Pasadena Convention Centre to console the survivors on Friday, January 10.
During his visit to the Pasadena Convention Centre, Harry touched the heart of an elderly wildfire survivor by bringing him a donut while keeping his identity private.
The Duke of Sussex, disguised in an N-95 mask and cap, went up to an old guy who was in bed and asked if he wanted a sandwich, some water, or a snack from a food cart, per Page Six.

First Partner of California Jennifer Newsom and the royal couple were spotted consoling victims on Friday while distributing food boxes at the Pasadena Convention Centre, which is being used as an evacuation center.
Meghan, 43, and Harry, 40, who live in Montecito, have shown their support for the victims by contributing to relief operations through their Archewell Foundation besides opening their $29 million Montecito mansion to loved ones who had to evacuate.
Mayor Victor Gordo joined them to visit the victims and witness the fire's damage. Gordo claimed to have lost sight of Harry at one point, but he later saw the royal perform a truly unique gesture of kindness.
Local newspaper Pasadena Star News reported that Harry asked an older guy if he would like a sandwich, a piece of fruit, or some water.

When the man, who had no idea who he was talking to, stated that a donut was what he truly wanted, Harry went out to get him one and came back 10 minutes later.
As he pushed the cart, Mayor Victor Gordo told the Pasadena Star, "The gentleman said, ‘What I’d really like is a donut.'"
The politician continued: "[Harry] says, ‘There’s no donut here, but I will find one.' He takes off, and 10 minutes later, he returns with a donut. The gentleman looks up and says, ‘I guess I need my carbs and my sugar.'"
Gordo recounted the unidentified elderly man telling Harry, who remained anonymous throughout, "If you ever run for anything, I’ll vote for you," unaware that he was in the presence of a prince.

The former working royal couple joined the wife of the controversial California governor as they fed the wildfire evacuees in Los Angeles during their visit.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were accompanied by the wife of Democrat California Governor Gavin Newsom, who has been under growing pressure from people for his response to the catastrophic wildfires, per Daily Mail.
Harry and Meghan further expressed gratitude to the Los Angeles police and fire agencies as well as the relief teams that were present.
"It’s great people, great personalities and great heart for them to come out here and meet with the first responders, meet with the people who were affected," Gordo told Fox 11.
Speaking high of the royal couple, Mayor Gordo said that the pair "really buoyed the spirits of the first responders."
"They want to be as helpful as they can be … we visited with some of the affected families in some of the burned-out areas in Pasadena and Altadena," he added.
"They took the time to meet the people that are affected and spent time. They’re just very caring people who are concerned for their friends and neighbors."
Markle and Harry live in Montecito, California, roughly 90 miles north of Los Angeles. Fortunately, the Palisades and Eaton fires that started last week have not affected their $14 million estate.
Nearly 14,000 acres have been destroyed by the city's devastating blazes, which have claimed 16 lives. Approximately 4,000 to 5,000 buildings, including Hollywood A-listers' luxurious residences, have either been damaged or destroyed.
