LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is reportedly considering a retreat from his Hollywood projects, say royal commentators, amid increasing speculation about his future in the entertainment industry.

Despite attempts to carve out a niche in Hollywood, insiders suggest that the Duke's heart isn't fully committed to the world of television and media.

Royal sources reveal Prince Harry's discontent with Hollywood pursuits

Royal writer Richard Eden told the Daily Mail that palace sources have unequivocally stated that Harry is not content with his current lifestyle.

"Palace officials are increasingly convinced that Harry wants to resume his old way of life, when he felt he was using his privileged position to make a difference for worthwhile causes," Eden said.

Eden added, "Harry's heart is not in the TV stuff - anyone can see that." The author suggested that Prince Harry conveyed his sentiments through his choice not to appear in the trailer for his Netflix series 'Polo.'

The footage featured only the names of Harry and Meghan Markle in a production credit reading, "Executive produced by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the Duke and Duchess of Sussex."

It has also been reported that Prince Harry informed his friends of his readiness to assume a temporary royal role following the news of his father King Charles' cancer diagnosis.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may consider returning to royal duties

The recent report suggests that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may contemplate a return to royal duties, given that their multi-million-pound Netflix contract is set for renewal in 2025, Aceshowbiz reported.

"If the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are prepared to give up their private work and return to royal life, they would be welcomed back," Eden said, adding "Certainly, as long as King Charles is monarch. Prince William is unlikely to be as forgiving as his father."

A recent report has suggested that Meghan is not at all pleased with the notion of her husband, Prince Harry, reconciling with his royal family.

"She's panicking about Harry being sucked back into his old life," a source said.

The source continued, stating, "For her, it's far better for Harry to be on the outside, so she can have him firmly and safely in her corner. The thought of him cozying up to his family again has struck a note of panic."

Prince Harry blasted over potential return to royal duties

As soon as royal sources disclosed Prince Harry's intentions to return to the royal duties, Facebook users began reacting to the news.

A user said, "He will not be excepted by the people after being a turncoat to royalty."

Another added, "Never going to happen. Most of the UK don’t want him neither the royal family don’t want him. He’s said too much."

A third commentator mocked him saying, "Royal return? Yeah right! That bus has passed."

"He will not be a working royal again and he knows it," said a critic.

Another person said, "We don't want him back, USA can keep him."

One chimed in, "And our hearts are not into Harry after what he did and said about our Royal Family."
