Billboard reports that Swift's newest album, 'The Tortured Poets Department' (TTPD), is causing quite a stir in the music scene, and fans are loving it.

During a recent episode of the Billboard Pop Shop Podcast, hosts Katie and Keith couldn't contain their amazement at 'TTPD's accomplishments. The album racked up an impressive 2.61 million equivalent album units in its debut week, ending on April 25.

Of that total, a whopping 1.914 million units came from traditional album sales, making it one of the most talked-about debuts in music history.

TTPD surged to the number one spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart, solidifying Swift's position as a dominant figure in the music industry. According to the hosts at Billboard, Swift shows no indication of slowing down in the near future.

Billboard's analysis reveals that, since 2010, there have been a total of 11 weeks with million-selling albums, with seven of those weeks belonging to Swift. Adele's '25' claimed three of those weeks, while Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' debut week rounds out the list.

This raises the question of whether Swift's repeated success in this arena is a feat that only she can accomplish.
