Rashee Rice’s mother caught on camera allegedly stealing neighbor’s package of Chappell Roan records

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Kansas City Chiefs player Rashee Rice's mother was accused of stealing her neighbor's package of Chappell Roan records from the front door.

Marsha Kearney was caught on a Ring doorbell camera using her foot to slide a package from a neighbor's door before picking it up and leaving, according to footage obtained by TMZ.

The video was recorded on Sunday, September 29, at the neighbor's Texas apartment hours after Rice was injured during the Chiefs game against the Los Angeles Chargers at California's SoFi Stadium.

In the nearly half-minute video, a woman wearing the NFL player's No 4 jersey with the name "Momma-Rice" could be seen walking past the front door and looking right into the doorbell camera.

She returned seconds later and moved the package away from the door, which was evident by the sliding sound. Kearney avoided looking into the camera as she bent down and picked it up.

Unfortunately for her, the camera caught the entire action as she walked away from the door.

Neither the 24-year-old Rice nor his mother has made public statements about the accusations.

The package contained two limited-edition Chappell Roan vinyl records from Urban Outfitters, and the owner told TMZ that she tried to recover the items and solve the matter with Kearney, Rice, and the apartment leasing office to no avail. A report was filed with local law enforcement authorities on Wednesday, October 2.

Rice, on the other hand, had a rocky start to the week after he was carted off the field due to a knee injury likely linked to his ACL.

Earlier in September, the NFL wide receiver allegedly hit a photographer during an altercation at a Texas nightclub. In March, he was arrested for a car accident and was charged with eight counts, including collision involving bodily injury and aggravated assault.

Netizens blasted Rice's mother, Kearney, for allegedly stealing Chappel Roan's record package from a neighbor. Many noted how embarrassing the incident would turn out for the Chiefs player.
