'Rewriting history': Marcus Jordan retaliates at ex-GF Larsa Pippen following her post-breakup remarks
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, has responded to his ex-girlfriend Larsa Pippen’s comments about their second breakup.
The response came after Pippen appeared on the 'Amy & TJ' podcast, detailing how Jordan wasn't her type of guy.
Larsa Pippen’s podcast revelations on breakup with Marcus Jordan
On Tuesday, March 26, Larsa Pippen, 49, appeared on Amy Robach and TJ Holmes’ podcast.
During the appearance, she addressed her breakup with Marcus, 33, after a month of dating.
She stated that she felt they both were on a “different journey,” and their 16-year age difference was not an issue.
“I feel like I have to be true to who I am, what I’m doing and what he’s doing, you know? I want him to be happy. He’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me,” she said, as previously reported by MEAWW.
“I think when you’re alone, you kind of either miss the person or realize maybe you’re not my guy, and I feel like that made me realize that I don’t think he’s my guy," Pippen stated.
Marcus Jordan’s response to Larsa Pippen
Jordan showed that he took some issue with Pippen's interview, although he didn’t get into specifics of the 'Amy & TJ' podcast interview.
“I wasn’t born last night. Rewriting history for clout is not cute,” he wrote according to Page Six.
“Funny how ppl change, just to be part of a conversation that’s irrelevant. Why give shorty a heart, when she rather have press. Ooooohhh thats [sic] that nerve," Marcus added further to the since-deleted Instagram story.
Larsa Pippen is ready to mingle soon but will focus on herself first
The 'Real Housewives of Miami' star also revealed during the podcast that “I am single, ready to mingle,” before clarifying that she is not ready to date right now but will be “soon.”
Pippen and Jordan first sparked romance rumors in late 2022 and broke up for the first time in early February 2024 but reconciled just in time for Valentine’s Day.
However, the second-chance romance didn’t last, and the now-former couple split again in March.
“Larsa really just wants to focus on herself. The relationship felt all-consuming,” an insider told Page Six of the breakup.
The source also mentioned that Pippen's friends and 'Real Housewives of Miami' castmates are looking forward to enjoying more good times with the television personality during her singlehood.
