WASHINGTON, DC: Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.) posted a Thanksgiving image showing himself with President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Donald Trump Jr., and House Speaker Mike Johnson gathered around a holiday meal.

The festive image was quickly revealed to be AI-generated, altering the infamous 2024 photograph originally posted by Donald Trump Jr.

Uncanny resemblance confirmed viral photo was AI modified

Kennedy shared the picture on X with the caption “Happy Thanksgiving,” featuring himself, President Donald Trump, and Tesla CEO Elon Musk seated alongside Donald Trump Jr. and Mike Johnson.

The high-profile group appeared to enjoy a traditional holiday feast, complete with roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, and corn.

Social media users quickly noticed the striking similarity between this new holiday image and a viral photo from November 2024.

A closer look confirmed that the 2025 Thanksgiving picture was digitally altered. Only the food on the table had been changed. The men retained the same seating positions, facial expressions, and attire, confirming the AI modification.

Junk food replaced with wholesome holiday feast in new picture

The original 2024 photo depicted the same group on a plane, but instead of a holiday dinner, they were gathered around a large spread of McDonald’s food.

Donald Trump Jr. was shown holding a french fry while the table was covered with fast-food wrappers and drinks.

The 2024 image sparked widespread discussion about the President's diet, prompting comments from Kennedy, who once said, “The food that goes onto that airplane is like just poison. You're either given KFC or Big Macs.”

For Thanksgiving 2025, the AI-edited photo replaced the infamous fast-food meal with a traditional holiday feast.

Donald Trump shares Thanksgiving message while users acknowledge AI edit

President Trump shared a Thanksgiving message urging Americans to gather and give thanks to God.

He said, “As we prepare to celebrate 250 glorious years of American independence, this Thanksgiving, we summon the faith, resolve, and unflinching fortitude of the giants of American history who came before us."

Online users reacted with humor and approval of Kennedy's visual edit. One noted, “This is an AI mod of the fast food shot isn't it?” Others praised the improved aesthetic of the image.
