WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump Jr reminded 'The View' co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin to fulfill the promise she made last December if President Donald Trump would get all the hostages freed.
Griffin, the sole conservative host on the talk show, previously served as the White House Director of Strategic Communications and Assistant to the President during Trump’s first term.

Donald Trump Jr took to X on Monday, October 13, writing, "Sending this to the top. Let’s go," along with a repost of 'The View' clip.
In the clip, Alyssa Farah Griffin is seen saying, "If he does good, if he gets the Israeli hostages out, I promise I will wear a MAGA hat for one day on the show and say, 'Thank you for doing it'." She also laughed at co-host Sunny Hostin's reaction and said Hostin will "knock it right off my head," adding, "You have to be able to cheer for wins when they happen and call out, relentlessly, the wrongdoing."

Meanwhile, during Monday's segment of the show, Griffin praised President Trump’s "historic, massive diplomatic achievement" if the peace deal "holds."
"I think everyone should be able to celebrate it. And listen, whether you like Trump or not, I think he, Steve Witkoff, and I think Jared Kushner do deserve credit for this deal," she said. Griffin added, "They personally met with Hamas. I used to be of the mind we don’t negotiate with terrorists, but sometimes the only way to get peace is to sit down with some of the most evil people and try to come up with what we can do to end the bloodshed. So, thank God, I pray that this peace holds."

She also posted a clip of the show and wrote, "My reflections on the peace deal between Israel & Hamas. However, she did not indicate whether she would wear the hat in celebration.

Hamas releases all 20 living hostages
The 20 Israeli hostages who were abducted by Hamas on October 7, 2023, were freed as part of the first phase of the Gaza peace plan proposed by President Donald Trump.

As part of the same phase of the ceasefire deal, Israel also released hundreds of Palestinian prisoners under the swap agreement. The returning hostages were identified as Matan Zangauker, Maxim Herkin, Segev Kalfon, Yosef-Chaim Ohana, Nimrod Cohen, Avinatan Or, Evyatar David, Eitan Horn, David Cunio, Ariel Cunio, Elkana Bohbot, Bar Kupershtein, and Rom Braslavski.
Meanwhile, President Trump addressed Israel’s Knesset on Monday, telling Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that "you’re not at war anymore Bibi" after pledging two vows – "never forget, and never again."

The president also said Israel "has won all they can" and that it’s now time for peace "for the entire Middle East." He further urged Israel’s president to issue a "pardon" to Netanyahu for any future corruption prosecutions.
