Williams, who shared two sons with the rapper, reported that he was not breathing, had no heartbeat, and was foaming at the mouth when she turned him over, according to audio reported by TMZ.

The 34-year-old musician had been sleeping on the living room couch since the previous night and had not come to bed, Williams said. She initially thought he was just sleeping late, so she covered him with a blanket before taking their son to school.

"Now, I just checked on him again because he never got up. I don't feel a heartbeat, I don't see him breathing," she told the dispatcher.

The dispatcher struggled to hear her but dispatched paramedics once Williams confirmed that Lamar wasn't breathing. The dispatcher then guided Williams on how to perform CPR, instructing her to lay Lamar flat on the floor.

"He is not waking up!" Williams said, clearly distressed. Lamar was pronounced dead at the scene on Thursday, leaving behind his girlfriend and four children. His family told TMZ they are "shattered and heartbroken" by the sudden loss, just a month before his 35th birthday.

Lamar was scheduled to perform in his hometown soon at Nick Cannon's Wild N Out alongside artists like Wacka Flocka and Nardo Wick. The Fulton County morgue also confirmed his death.

While some online speculation suggests a drug overdose, fueled by other musicians, his family has not yet confirmed the cause of death. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
