Ro Khanna says the royal family should 'personally compensate' Epstein’s victims
WASHINGTON, DC: Democratic Representative Ro Khanna is calling for the British royal family to provide financial compensation to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein, citing the connections between the disgraced financier and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
This demand follows the release of further evidence from the Epstein files and ongoing legislative efforts to ensure full transparency regarding the late financier’s high-profile associates.

Ro Khanna demands that the royal family compensate Epstein’s victims
The California Democrat, who co-sponsored the Epstein Transparency Act alongside Republican Representative Thomas Massie, utilized social media to argue that the victims should be paid directly.
Khanna took to X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, December 27, and asserted, “The Royal family should personally compensate Epstein’s victims. Who agrees?”
He also attached a link to an article by The i Paper, where he claimed that the monarchy “should be ashamed and horrified” by the nature of the ties uncovered during the investigation into Epstein's network.
Ro Khanna says the royal family should be ‘ashamed and horrified’
The push for compensation comes as Buckingham Palace reportedly faces renewed scrutiny over newly disclosed materials.
According to British media reports, “Buckingham Palace is reeling from the latest disclosures from the so-called Epstein files – including a photo showing the former prince lying across the laps of women at Sandringham, and an apparent request to Ghislaine Maxwell to find ‘new inappropriate friends.’”
In response to the exploitation of young women within these elite circles, Khanna stated, “The Royal Family should be ashamed and horrified. They should be compensating each of the working class girls who were victims of the Epstein class.”
Prince Andrew’s royal titles stripped amid ongoing legal transparency push
While King Charles III has already stripped the former Prince Andrew of his titles and privileges, stating that “Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse,” the legal pressure remains.
Andrew previously reached an out-of-court settlement with Virginia Giuffre, “who claimed she was forced to have sex with Andrew on three occasions, an allegation he has always denied.”
Although the settlement was estimated at $16 million, the former royal did not accept wrongdoing.
Giuffre tragically died by suicide in April at age 41, leaving behind a legacy of seeking justice for the roughly 1,200 women harmed by Epstein.
As the Justice Department continues to release files, including those involving President Donald Trump’s past friendship with Epstein, Khanna maintains that “the public deserves to know who was abusing women and young girls alongside Epstein.”
