Rob Gronkowski calls Patriots owner Robert Kraft's idea of Taylor Swift choosing him over Travis Kelce 'silly'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rob Gronkowski, the renowned tight end, has recently commented on Patriots owner Robert Kraft's lighthearted suggestion that Taylor Swift should have dated Gronkowski instead of Travis Kelce. Gronkowski brushed off Kraft's idea as "silly."

Previously, Gronkowski has discussed his friendship with Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, during an appearance on 'The Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon. He recalled a friendly dance-off between the two at Gronk Beach, an annual event hosted by Gronkowski.

Gronkowski also revealed that he and Kelce are close friends, and their dance-off resulted in a tie.

Meanwhile, Kelce sparked speculation about his relationship status and future family plans after expressing his desire for parenthood on his podcast, 'New Heights,' which subsequently drew significant criticism.

In a recent podcast, Gronkowski openly criticized Kraft, condemning his comments as "silly." Kraft had previously suggested that Swift should have selected Gronkowski over Kelce, emphasizing Gronk's appearance.

Gronkowski, a four-time Super Bowl champion with both the Patriots and Buccaneers, has been in a long-term relationship with Sports Illustrated model Camille Kostek since 2015. Despite not tying the knot yet, Gronk's love for his girlfriend remains strong, as per the Daily Mail.

During an appearance on MassLive's 'Eye on Foxborough' podcast, Gronkowski didn't mince words and said, "Kraft is always being silly. He's always being silly."

Kraft, an 82-year-old business executive who has owned the Patriots since 1994, is known for his playful banter, according to the Daily Mail.

Speaking about his relationship with Kostek, Gronkowski shared, "But I'm very happy to be with my girl, Camille. She's a sweetheart. She was actually a Patriots cheerleader. We go down in history. But Mr Kraft always has a job. And he's always got silly jokes out there too. So that's just Mr Kraft for you."

Acknowledging Kraft's comments about his looks, Gronkowski added, "And I appreciate his comments. You know, commenting on my looks, saying I'm very good-looking because I will say Travis is a dime piece. He's a 10 out of 10. So if he says I'm better looking than Travis Kelce, then hey, I'm like a 10.2," as reported by the Daily Mail.

Robert Kraft suggested Taylor Swift should've dated Robert Gronkowski

In a chat with fans in February, Kraft shared his thoughts on Swift's rise to fame, suggesting she could have chosen a different tight end to date besides the Chiefs' starter.

Recalling Swift's first stadium concert at Gillette Stadium, home of the Patriots, on his birthday in 2010, Kraft reminisced, "Her first stadium concert was on my birthday in 2010, June 5th. We convinced her and her family that she could sell out a stadium. When she came to view the Chiefs play the Patriots this year at Gillette, I gave her a framed ticket from that concert."

Reflecting on Swift's journey since then, Kraft quipped, "Think about it, she was like 18, 19, and she's done pretty well since then. Except maybe she should have been dating Gronk- he's better looking."
