Robert De Niro calls his youngest daughter Gia 'pure joy' as he celebrates her first birthday with GF Tiffany Chen
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Robert De Niro and his girlfriend Tiffany Chen recently celebrated their daughter Gia Virginia's first birthday.
The ‘Raging Bull’ star shared about the special day with ET. "Yes, she did. She had a little cake, it was very nice, sweet," De Niro told the outlet
"Well, she's pure joy, there's nothing about her, there's no judgement, there's no anything, she just is what she is and it's just pure joy for god sakes," he added.

De Niro is also a proud father to Drena, 56, and Raphael, 47, whom he shares with his first wife Diahnne Abbott, twins Julian and Aaron, 28, with ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith and Elliot, 25, and Helen, 12, with ex-wife Grace Hightower.
In February, De Niro talked about the similarities between him and his two youngest daughters Gia and Helen, "It reminds me of my two youngest little girls. I see it also in one of my grandkids.”
“The kids all get a big kick out of her,” he said of Gia, adding “The grandkids even. She’s their aunt— [and] they’re about to be teenagers!”
In his earlier interview with People, the 80-year-old said, She’s such an adorable baby. So sweet. [When I] look at her, everything else goes away. So it’s a great joy and relief to just be with her in the moment.”
“One thing I'd say to one of my younger kids is that there are things that I remember that [my parents, De Niro Sr. and Virginia Admiral] told me that you don't forget,” said the 'Goodfellas' icon about sharing his wisdom with his children.
“Certain little truisms or whatever you want to call them," he said of his children.
