Robin Roberts shares holiday snap with pet dog Lukas amid break from 'GMA'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Robin Roberts is currently on a break from her hosting duties on 'Good Morning America'. Amid her celebration of the holidays, she has shared where she has been on Instagram.
Taking to the social media platform on December 27, the 63-year-old television personality uploaded a picture from her vacation, which showed her relaxing outdoors with her and her wife Amber Laign's pooch, Lukas.
Roberts did not show her face in the photograph, which only captured her from the neck down. Dressed in a matching pajama set with a button-up t-shirt and shorts with tennis racket imprints, she was seen basking in the sun with a mug, as Lukas rested on her lap.
The post was captioned, "Relaxing morning before heading off to hit the tennis courts. I think @lil_man_lukas needs coffee more than I do!"
The hashtag following the caption revealed that the 'GMA' co-host has been staying in Key West, Florida, where she frequently goes on vacation, according to The Sun.

Amber Laign and Robin Roberts' dog's Christmas post
Before sharing her holiday destination, Roberts had uploaded a picture of Lukas on the pet's own Instagram page.
The snap showed Lukas lying on a bed in front of Christmas-themed pillows that were embroidered with the first names of Robert and Laign.
"Celebrating my mommies first married Christmas. Hope you had a good one too!" read the caption of the post.

Roberts and Laign, who had been together for a long time, got married in an intimate ceremony in September, following which they held a large reception with family and friends.
Robin Roberts has been on a break from 'GMA' since the week before Christmas
The December 22 episode of 'GMA' found Roberts missing from her spot at the desk, along with George Stephanopoulos, who is on an extended hiatus.
On that day, regular weekday host Michael Strahan was joined by Deborah Roberts and Whit Johnson, who filled in for the absent hosts.
After the Christmas Day episode featured a pretaped segment by the three regulars, they were all temporarily replaced on December 26 as they took a break over the holidays.
DeMarco Morgan, Eva Pilgrim, and Whit Johnson have been chosen by the network to anchor the show in the interim period.
