As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.

“The cancer journey is complex, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything,” she asserted.
Royal expert reveals meaning behind William and Kate’s new video
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Us Weekly on Monday, September 9, “A video means that firstly you connect very, very personally rather than just in a statement. You can also show family life and you can also get an impression of what normality is like.”
He continued, “And that is of course what we see. But equally, if you listen to the words, you understand that for nine months there’s been a struggle. And that struggle has been tough, and there’s plenty still to go.”
The royal footage not just featured the future king and the queen but also their three children — Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
Presenting the cute family moments, the video also showed William and Kate spending sweet times together.
Royal expert asserts Kate and William ‘make their own rules’
Commenting on the video, Fitzwilliams explained, “From a public point of view, this gave us an insight into [their] personal [lives] that we hadn’t seen before.
“I think it’s unique and deeply touching because I think that what they felt was that it’s one thing to say what you’ve been through or try [to] convey it.
“And it’s quite another to actually show closeness, which members of the royal family normally don’t. I think there are important exceptions, and I think this was an exception. It reminds me of the Queen’s comment: ‘Well, protocol is rubbish.’ They make their own rules,” he added.
Kate Middleton revealed her cancer diagnosis in March
Kate has been out of the limelight for most of 2024 after disclosing her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

At the time, the 42-year-old royal shared, “This, of course, came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family. As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.”
“But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte, and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be OK," she added.
