LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rumer Willis recently opened up about her unexpected trip to an emergency room (ER) on the first day of shooting her upcoming film 'Trail Of Vengeance'.

The actress, daughter of Hollywood icons Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, was filming the Western during a heatwave in Arkansas when temperatures soared to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.

During the shoot, Rumer worked in a confined space under intense conditions, which she said contributed to her dehydration.

This project also marked the first time she brought her one-year-old daughter, Louetta, whom she shares with musician Derek Richard Thomas, along for a film shoot.

Rumer Willis, 36, shared that bringing Louetta on set was a new experience, as it was the first time she’d taken her daughter to a film location.

Following her dehydration, the actress’s childhood nanny, Madison, came to her aid, allowing Rumer to rest overnight apart from Louetta.

“That was the first night that I think I ever slept away from her,” she said before adding, “Because thankfully, my nanny when I was a little girl, Madison, came to help me while I was shooting."

Rumer credited Madison for being there at a crucial moment, saying, “Thank God, because she raised me in a lot of ways, and I trust her so much with Louetta. She was like, ‘I am going to take her tonight so you can sleep.’”

Rumer Willis on balancing motherhood and career in ‘Trail of Vengeance’

Throwing the spotlight on the challenges of balancing work and motherhood, Rumer Willis described it as a “wild” experience.

“That balance of going, 'OK how do I take care of myself so I can take care of her and also show up for this job?' That was a kind of interesting balance,” she said.

Willis also acknowledged the familiar “mom guilt,” adding, “Am I doing the right things?”

However, knowing Louetta was safe helped ease her worries, as Rumer explained, “I knew that she was being taken care of, and she would come to visit pretty much every day and hang out and come see all of us.”

'Trail of Vengeance', previously titled 'Broken Trail', is set in the 1800s and follows a widow seeking justice after her husband’s murder.

Alongside Rumer, the film stars Jeremy Sumpter, Jeff Fahey, Gbenga Akinnagbe, and Graham Greene, according to Newsweek.
