Ryan Reynolds jokes about being 'sued' by Taylor Swift for using her cats' image in 'Deadpool 2'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: All’s well between Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift!
The ‘Free Guy’ star, in his appearance on SiriusXM's Town Hall, opened up about Swift’s cats being shown in ‘Deadpool 2’.
“Yes, I had a T-shirt made. Yes, of [Swift’s cats] Meredith and Olivia on Wade’s shirt. Yeah, you know, just little details, that’s all,” Reynolds said.

Jess Cagle asked Reynolds, “Now, when you put her cats on a T-shirt, did you have to call her and get permission?" to which Reynolds jokingly responded, "No, I was sued. I lost everything in that one."
He continued, "And getting sued by a friend is tough to swallow. Also, she has just a lot of very, very powerful lawyers. I found out later those are just the paralegals. The real lawyers didn’t even bother with it.”
“But ... I would never do such a thing,” the actor said of wearing the shirt without asking Taylor Swift.
Ryan Reynolds on collaborating with Taylor Swift in near future
Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift are close pals, and even he and his wife Blake Lively, attended one of the Eras Tour concerts in Madrid in May.
'The Adam Project' actor previously said that he’d love to work with Swift in a movie, "Are you kidding me? I would do anything for that woman. She's a genius," he told ET in 2022.
He also shared that his whole family was "obsessed" with the pop icon and her album, ‘Midnights’ at the time. "Oh my God, yes. All of us, whole house, I'm not kidding. I love it so much. I do, Blake does, my daughters. We love it. Obsessed," Reynolds added.
His next flick ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ will be out in theaters on July 26, per People.

Ryan Reynolds, who is married to actress Blake Lively earlier teased that Taylor Swift may name their fourth child.
The couple are parents to daughters Betty, four, Inez, seven, and James, nine. Their fourth child, whose name and sex haven't been revealed yet, 'Today' host Savannah Guthrie jokingly begged Reynolds to cough up the name by asking him, Taylor Swift keeps dropping it into lyrics… Is the fourth child’s name, the baby’s name, anywhere on the record?”
Naturally, that record is Swift's massively successful 'The Tortured Poets Department' and Reynolds, who is renowned for his dry humor and deadpan remarks, said right away, “We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name will be. And we’ll say this: we’re still waiting.”
