Ryan Reynolds stands as Blake Lively’s rock amid lawsuit against ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star Justin Baldoni
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Blake Lively is leaning on her husband, Ryan Reynolds, as she navigates the challenges surrounding her sexual harassment complaint against 'It Ends with Us' director and co-star Justin Baldoni.
The 37-year-old actress filed a complaint last week, alleging harassment and a smear campaign orchestrated by Baldoni, 40, along with the film’s lead producer Jamey Heath, and others affiliated with Wayfarer Studios.
Ryan Reynolds has been Blake Lively's 'rock'
"Ryan is always her rock," a source close to the couple revealed exclusively to People. "They have such a special relationship. He's very proud of her in so many ways," the source added.
Having filed the lawsuit and publicly addressed the "hostile work environment that nearly derailed production," as outlined in her complaint, the actress is now prioritizing much-needed family time. She's focusing on her children—James, 10, Inez, eight, Betty, five, and Olin, one during the holiday season.
"She's trying to focus on making Christmas magical for her children," shared the insider. The source said that Blake Lively is unlikely to address the harassment publicly again anytime soon. "For now, she’s said what needed to be said," the source shared.

"As Blake's friends and sisters for over twenty years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation," the statement read.
"Throughout the filming of It Ends with Us, we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set, and we are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice. Most upsetting is the unabashed exploitation of domestic violence survivors' stories to silence a woman who asked for safety. The hypocrisy is astounding," the statement continued.
Amber Heard, who has faced her own high-profile legal battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp, offered her support for Lively in a statement to NBC News. Heard drew comparisons to her own experiences with social media narratives and PR strategies, highlighting the destructive impact of misinformation campaigns.
"Social media is the absolute personification of the classic saying 'A lie travels halfway around the world before truth can get its boots on.' I saw this firsthand and up close," Heard said, adding "It’s as horrifying as it is destructive."
