LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: If you’ve been anywhere near a TV screen in the last couple of decades, chances are you’ve seen Ryan Seacrest at least once—probably more times than you can remember.

Whether he's hosting a hit TV show, chatting away on his morning radio gig, or ringing in the New Year as the face of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on ABC—Ryan is everywhere. And with so much screen time, it’s no surprise that his net worth is enough to make your jaw drop.

What is Ryan Seacrest's net worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Ryan Seacrest’s net worth is a staggering $450 million. And with an annual salary of around $75 million, Ryan isn’t just rich; he’s living in a completely different universe.

Ryan’s rise to the top of media echelons didn’t just happen overnight. His big break came in 1993 when he began hosting 'Radical Outdoor Challenge' on ESPN. This was only the beginning. In 1994, he hosted 'Gladiators 2000' and eventually 'Saturday Night at the Movies'. But the real game-changer came in 2002 when Ryan landed the hosting gig for 'American Idol'.

At first, he was pulling in a respectable $5 million a year. But Ryan knew his worth, and by 2009, he had renegotiated his contract to a hefty $15 million per year. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, by 2011, Ryan’s paycheck had ballooned to an eye-popping $45 million a year.

In 2017, Ryan joined 'Live with Kelly and Ryan' alongside Kelly Ripa. According to Forbes, the show brings in an estimated $85 to $90 million annually, with Kelly reportedly earning $15 million per year from her gig. After six successful years, Ryan announced his departure from the show on February 16, 2023, and co-hosted his final episode in April of that year.

But Ryan doesn’t just dominate the TV screen; he’s also a big name on radio. He hosts not one but two shows on iHeartRadio—'On Air With Ryan Seacrest' and 'American Top 40 With Ryan Seacrest'. Back in 2015, Billboard reported that Ryan signed a three-year deal worth $25 million for his radio endeavors.

And if all that wasn’t enough, Ryan recently snagged the hosting gig for 'Wheel of Fortune', taking over from the legendary Pat Sajak after his incredible 40-season run.

Ryan shared his excitement on Instagram in June last year. "I am truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak," he wrote.

He continued, "I can say, along with the rest of America, that it’s been a privilege and pure joy to watch Pat and Vana on our television screens for an unprecedented 40 years, making us smile every night and feel right at home with them."

On the eve of his 'Wheel of Fortune' debut, Ryan talked about how thrilled he was to take on the iconic role.

“I’m just excited honestly,” he shared in September 2024 on his radio show. “You know, this is 'Wheel of Fortune' tonight. It’s been a show that’s meant a lot to me as it has a lot of people around the country, and it’s just something that we like to watch for fun. There’s nothing serious, there’s no news in it. It’s really just an escape from reality.”

And just how much is Ryan raking in for his new gig? According to Radar Online, he’s earning at least $28 million per season—a huge bump from Sajak’s previously reported $15 million per season salary, per Forbes.

Ryan Seacrest's other business ventures and real estate

Ryan Seacrest's talents don’t stop at hosting. He’s also a producer, having started Ryan Seacrest Productions in 2006. One of his most notable projects? 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians', which ran for a whopping 20 seasons.

He’s also behind 'Denise Richards: It’s Complicated'. On top of all that, Ryan is a regular on the red carpet, hosting events like the Oscars and the Emmys for E!

Another one of his long-running gigs is Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. Ryan took over hosting duties in 2005 and continued after Dick Clark’s passing in 2012. According to Forbes, Ryan pockets about $1 million for the New Year’s Eve special each year, meaning he’s raked in around $11 million from this gig alone!

But wait, there’s more. Ryan launched the menswear line Ryan Seacrest Distinction in 2014, which is sold exclusively at Macy’s. By 2018, the brand was on track to hit $50 million in retail sales.

And if that’s not enough, Ryan has partnered with big brands like Ford and Coca-Cola. He’s also the founder and chairman of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to building broadcast media centers within pediatric hospitals.

Despite his massive earnings, Ryan is said to be pretty frugal. An insider once told In Touch that Ryan even made his ex-girlfriend Aubrey Paige split the bill with him. The couple called it quits in April 2024 after three years together, with a source telling People that the breakup was “mutual".

That said, when you’ve got a net worth of $450 million, you can afford some pretty swanky real estate. Ryan made headlines when he bought Ellen DeGeneres’ Beverly Hills home for $36.5 million. The property is a dream, complete with a guesthouse, a pool, and even a tennis court.

And since Ryan spends a lot of time in New York City for work, he also rents a $75,000-a-month six-bedroom townhouse in the city.
