Sami Sheen calls out sister Lola for alleged anti-LGBTQ+ views
On Wednesday, June 18, Sami Sheen took to her official TikTok account to publicly call out her sister, Lola Sheen, accusing her of being homophobic and transphobic. In the video, Sami began by reflecting on the values instilled in them by their mother, actress Denise Richards.
“My mom did an amazing job raising me and my sister to be very accepting of everyone’s sexuality and gender identity and everything else under the sun,” she said. “That’s why it is so sad for me to see that my own sister is homophobic and transphobic now."

Sami explained that she initially didn’t plan to bring the issue online but felt compelled to speak out after noticing that Lola had shared certain public posts. She pointed to content Lola had reposted from Christian podcaster Bryce Crawford, including one where he claimed that being transgender is a sin.
“She’s been reposting this man’s stuff,” Sami said. “It disgusts me. because it’s so sad that she’s this confirmed to her religion that she thinks like this.” Sami also accused Lola of resharing a video in which Crawford mocked attendees at a Pride parade.
Adding to the tension, Sami recalled a personal moment when she invited Lola to a Pride party. “I asked Lola if she would want to come to a Pride party with me and she laughed in my face,” Sami claimed.
Sami recalls a personal exchange with Lola involving anti-LGBTQ+ comments
Sami Sheen continued to voice her frustrations with sister Lola Sheen, offering more insight into what she described as homophobic and transphobic behavior.
In her TikTok video, Sami recalled a personal exchange between the two, saying Lola became uncomfortable when asked how she would feel if Sami were to marry a woman.

“[She] got really weird,” Sami claimed. “[She] was like, ‘Well, I mean I guess I would come to the wedding but I think every woman needs a man to provide for them,'”
Expressing her disappointment, Sami said, “I am a part of the f*****g LGBTQ+ community and I wish my sister was a f*****g ally. It’s just honestly disgusting, close-minded behavior.”
Sami added that Lola had blocked her on the app, which led her to speak out publicly. “She can’t even have the decency to respond to me,” she said, showing a screenshot of their private messages, including one where she asked Lola why she had re-posted a video by Christian podcaster Bryce Crawford.
Addressing her sister directly, Sami said, “Lola, if you’re watching this, I urge you, just for five minutes, put the bible down. It’s gonna be OK, you can live without it for five minutes and pick up a Pride flag and support the f*****g community.”
Fighting back tears, Sami pleaded with her sister to “do better,” adding, “[I’m] embarrassed" to have a homophobic sister. While acknowledging that everyone has a right to their beliefs, Sami emphasized that those beliefs shouldn’t be used to harm or invalidate others.
“Someone’s sexuality and someone’s gender identity should not affect you,” she said. “Who gives a s**t what someone identifies as? If that makes them happy, let them be. Stop trying to tell people that there’s something wrong with them because they identify a certain way.”

Internet reacts to Sami Sheen’s disagreement with her sister Lola over LGBTQ+ views
As Sami Sheen’s video expressing her thoughts on Lola’s views about the LGBTQ+ community made the rounds online, many internet users quickly reacted, some shared neutral comments aligning with Sami’s perspective, while others expressed disagreement.
One user wrote, "It's still so weird to me that having a different point of view is looked at as " phobic", it's not a phobia."
One person shared, "Everybody has a right to their own opinion they don't have to think like everyone else."
A commenter explained, "If i have learned anything as of lately, it's that ANYONE is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs whether others like it or not. Judging her for that literally makes her no better than her sister."
A speaker said, "Lola is a sensitive sweetheart. Sami is critical and witchy. Night and day personalities."
A Facebook user slammed Sami, "doesn’t matter if she is or not. Everyone has a preference either way. What does matter is she is your sister and disrespecting her in public is wrong. Rather you think you are right or not. He option is hers and hers alone. you should not judge. Judging people is exactly what you are calling her out for doing."
A last user shared their input while trying to understand things from Sami's perspective, "Maybe she’s embarrassed by her."
