LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Savannah Chrisley is bracing for another Christmas without her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, who remain in federal prison.

On the December 23 episode of her 'Unlocked' podcast, Savannah and her grandmother, Nanny Faye Chrisley, opened up about navigating the holiday season while holding onto hope for the future.

Savannah Chrisley calls parents Todd and Julie Chrisley's absence a 'shocker'

During the episode, Savannah Chrisley remarked, "Obviously, mom and dad are not here, shocker."

Nanny Faye, 81, chimed in with optimism, saying, “But hopefully they will be next year. Our hearts are heavy, but we're not going to let the devil win."

"This shall pass, and we will be better for it because God doesn’t put stuff on us that He doesn’t get us out of," she shared.

Reflecting on the challenges of the past two years, Savannah expressed her belief in a brighter future.

“I have got so much good karma coming my way after the past two years and everything that I've done,” she said with a laugh. “I’m just waiting for it to show up,” she added, according to People.

Nanny Faye echoed the sentiment, saying, “People lie on you, it will come to get you. Karma’s not coming for me.”

Instead of hosting a traditional Christmas gathering, she and the children opted for an international trip.

“Last Christmas, I did Christmas for the kids, cooked a whole meal, friends came over," she said.

"But Mom and Dad aren’t here, so trying to pretend everything’s the same really is not what’s in the best interest for everybody,” Savannah explained.

The 27-year-old shared that her boyfriend, Robert Shiver, and his family would join them on the trip.

She plans to bring the kids’ stockings along to preserve a piece of tradition.

Meanwhile, Nanny Faye will spend Christmas with her other son, Randy Chrisley.

Savannah noted that this trip would also mark the family’s last outing before her younger brother, Grayson, heads off to college.

Nanny Faye shared a humorous exchange with her grandson, who joked that she should move in with him to cook, clean, and do laundry.

“I really don’t know what I’m going to do without him,” Savannah admitted.
