Savannah Chrisley reflects on losing bond with ex Rob Shiver's children
Savannah Chrisley spoke on the Tuesday, April 15 episode of her 'Unlocked' podcast, nearly six weeks after the pair ended their two-year relationship.
While she is mourning the end of the romantic relationship, she shared that losing the connection with his children has been just as hard.

“I think what sucks that people really don't prepare you for, is when kids are involved, not only are you grieving the loss of the person you were in relationship with, but you're also grieving the loss of that relationship that you have with those children,” Chrisley said.
Chrisley said she has “shown up for them on birthdays and holidays” and recalled phone calls “when they were sick” and wanted her there.
"It really sucks,” she added, according to People.
Savannah Chrisley says she'll honor her word to Robert Shiver’s children
Despite the breakup, Savannah Chrisley affirmed that her relationship with Robert Shiver’s children will remain strong.
“When I got into a relationship with Robert, I also got into a relationship with his kids," she said.
"And I vowed to always show up, always be there and I was not gonna be another disappointment for them, because they've had a lot, and I'm going to keep that promise,” Chrisley added.

“When they call, I'm going to answer. If they need me to show up, I will be there. Because regardless of me and Robert's relationship, I still love them,” she continued.
“And I love them more than I dislike where Robert and I are at. I'm trying to navigate this in the best adult way possible,” she added.

“I'm doing a solo [episode] because I feel like there's elephants in the room that clearly need to be addressed,” Chrisley said.
"I've been figuring out how to navigate this stage of my life because it sucks, it hurts," she continued.
“It's been about a month and a half since Robert and I broke up,” she continued. “So there it is. Robert and I broke up on March 6."
"Not that I'm keeping track of dates or anything, but I have taken a lot of time to process things and truly grieve the loss of the relationship that I thought was gonna be where I was for the rest of my life," she said.
Savannah Chrisley blames Robert Shiver's estranged wife of 'mass distruction'
Savannah Chrisley also expressed her frustration over the role she believes Robert Shiver’s estranged wife, Lindsay, played in their split.
“I don't wanna give her the notoriety that she has so badly been seeking, but I feel like that's the only way to go,” Chrisley said.

“I don't think I will ever forgive her for what she has put Robert and the boys through. I don't believe that Robert and I would be where we were at today if she wouldn't have caused so much mass destruction," she said.
Shiver is currently involved in legal proceedings with Lindsay, who is awaiting trial for allegedly plotting his murder.

At the same time, Chrisley is raising her younger siblings Chloe, 12, and Grayson, 18, as their parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, serve time in prison.
