LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Scott Disick has reportedly slammed Kristin Cavallari for publicly accusing him of being "manipulative" during an episode of her 'Let’s Be Honest' podcast.

Kristin Cavallari shuts down Scott Disick’s 'manipulative' message

The reality TV drama began when Kristin Cavallari, 37, revisited headlines from years past, including claims that she and Scott Disick, 41, had an affair while he was dating Kourtney Kardashian.

Setting the record straight, she emphasized, "Nothing ever happened between us," and recounted their history of partying together without any romantic entanglements.

However, it was Disick’s alleged DM that reignited the controversy.

Reading the message aloud, Cavallari shared, "I feel like it would be so good to see you and catch up and just talk about the stress and all the different things you got to go through with kids and changing your life around over and over. I really miss you though and wish I would have reached out earlier just been busy trying to be the best dad I can be."

The message ended with Disick suggesting they talk more directly, "I don’t have time for much but trying to think about myself a little bit again. Trying, anyway. Hope to hear from you. Just text me so it’s easier to chat."

Cavallari, unimpressed, fired back during the podcast saying, "Scott, you miss me after 17 years? If this is not the most manipulative text I’ve ever gotten, well, then I don’t know what is."

Scott Disick slams Kristin Cavallari’s public call-out as a 'podcast publicity'

Sources close to Scott Disick have since defended him, claiming his intentions were harmless.

"Scott did text her after her most recent breakup, but there was nothing in his text message that indicated he wanted to hook up with her," a source told Daily Mail.

"He was simply trying to make a connection as a fellow single parent," the source added.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star is reportedly livid over Cavallari’s decision to air their private conversation, especially since, according to an insider, he doesn’t even follow her podcast. "She made it into something it is not. And he also doesn’t care who takes digs at the Kardashians," the insider said.

The Talentless founder is now accusing Cavallari of using the situation for publicity.

"What is manipulative is Kristin using this to get some PR for her podcast that is centered around ripping on the men she’s been with or who have expressed interest in her," the source added.

On her end, Cavallari remains unapologetic. According to an insider, Cavallari was determined to address Disick's message publicly because she felt his intentions were disingenuous.

"Kristin knows better than to fall for it," they said, adding "She is spilling all the tea because she wants to expose all the fakers."

Cavallari, who shares three children with her ex-husband Jay Cutler, reflected on her reality TV days during the episode, saying her perspective shifted after starting a family.

"When she became a businesswoman, she saw that world and the people in it for what it is," the insider revealed.

Despite her insistence that they were just friends, the fallout has left Disick frustrated but unwilling to escalate the situation further.

"Scott is fuming that Kristin talked about him and the DM," an insider shared, adding "but he doesn’t currently have any plans to respond."

As for Cavallari, she’s looking ahead, focused on her family, her podcast, and potentially finding her next serious relationship.

"My next boyfriend is gonna be my next husband," she declared confidently.
