BROOKLYN, NEW YORK: Sean "Diddy" Combs, 54, is reportedly frustrated over the attention given to alleged killer Luigi Mangione, 26, at the Brooklyn federal prison where both are being held.
Diddy, facing serious allegations of trafficking, is said to be upset about the treatment Mangione receives.
Sean Diddy Dombs reportedly upset over treatment inside prison
Both Sean "Diddy" Combs and Luigi Mangione are currently detained at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center while awaiting trial.
Reports claim Diddy feels overshadowed by Mangione, who has gained admiration from fellow inmates.
"Diddy has been throwing tantrums over the fact that Luigi is getting all of the attention in prison and is being revered as a hero after literally murdering someone on camera," according to Daily Mail.
The source also said Diddy is frustrated, claiming innocence in his case while feeling judged by inmates. "Diddy is reportedly upset because he claims he is innocent...yet he continues getting so much hate inside the lock up while Luigi gets so much love."
The source added, "Even in prison, Diddy’s ego is bigger than life."
Luigi Mangione getting support from fellow prisoners
Luigi Mangione is reportedly receiving strong support from prisoners who sympathize with his past struggles.
"Mangione is apparently loved by the prisoners and is not having a difficult time dealing with everything," the source said.
It is "because he has gotten so much support with prisoners who have shared with him their stories of losing loved ones due to inadequate healthcare."
The source continued, "The prison, itself, faces constant allegations of inadequate healthcare to those who are locked up."
No contact between Sean 'Diddy' Combs and Luigi Mangione: 'Zero in common'
Despite being in the same facility, Sean "Diddy" Combs and Luigi Mangione have reportedly not interacted due to their separate housing arrangements.
"Diddy has not had any contact with Luigi Mangione despite sharing the same legal team," a source said, and clarified that, "They do not spend time together and the two really have zero in common."
Mangione remains in solitary confinement, while Diddy is housed in the general population.
Mangione faces multiple charges, including murder as an act of terrorism, after allegedly shooting UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in December.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges in a New York state court.
