NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Rapper Kanye West bizarrely called out for his peer Sean 'P Diddy' Combs to be freed from prison on Thursday, February 6, after the latter was arrested on multiple felony charges involving racketeering and trafficking.

He also announced a merchandise collaboration between their clothing brands whose profits will be equally divided among themselves.

Combs took to the social media platform Instagram from his current address, the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, in turn, to thank Kanye for his support. "Thank you to my brother @Ye," he wrote.

According to the Daily Mail, the exchange came as a surprise to many as the two rappers were known to be fighting since 2022, when Kanye unveiled his controversial 'White Lives Matter' merchandise.

Diddy had called the move "tone deaf" in a podcast interview at the time, leading to Kanye lashing out at him on social media.

Kanye even tagged President Donald Trump in a post stating, "Please free my brother Puff." Kanye used Combs' former stage name, Puff Daddy, to address him in his rant.

Starting with the blunt post of "Free Puff," Kanye continued his tweets in all caps, slamming celebrities for watching "our brother rot and never say s**t."

"They tryna prove a point and yall know that yall f*****g know that and sitting laughing at the f*****g internet on Instagram. This man gave his life to us. This is my idol. This is my hero."

The 'Runaway' rapper claimed to not care about facing backlash for his comments, even if his deals get canceled, stating, "I'm speaking my mind now. I ain't editing s**t again ever."

He blamed the accusations against Diddy on racism, claiming, "Just for clarity they trying to make an example out of Puff. Me and my brother had our issues but these White people trying to use Puff to scare (N-word), I'm neither scared nor brave this just me."

Internet stunned by Kanye West's support for Diddy
