NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Sean "Diddy" Combs' legal woes worsen as he is hit with a $200k federal lawsuit over a scrapped art project.

Diddy, Phantom Labs, Inc (PHNTM), and a tour manager named Matthew Lupton, are being sued by an event design business, Raven Production Management Group, LLC, according to court records obtained by RadarOnline

Lawsuit claims PHNTM 'misrepresented their contractual relationship with Diddy'

Raven Production Management Group, LLC, filed the lawsuit in New York, on Tuesday, April 9, alleging that when PHNTM and Lupton hired the company in August 2023 to build and install a red translucent cube for a project connected to Diddy, they "misrepresented their contractual relationship with Diddy and their financial arrangements."

"On August 31, PHNTM, by and through Lupton, stated that it received a signed contract from Diddy and would receive funds the next day," stated the lawsuit, adding, "Based on PHNTM and Lupton’s representations, Raven began fabricating the cube based on the modified specifications."

On September 7, PHNTM apparently instructed Raven "to stop work because Diddy postponed the project to a later unknown date."

However, when it came for PHNTM to make good on its financial obligations, Raven claims "it never did."

The suit further stated, "Despite assurances from PHNTM that it would pay Raven for costs incurred once it received funds from Diddy, it never did. On September 8, Raven sent PHNTM an invoice for $96,732.00 for its material costs but received no payment."

Raven requests for a jury trial and to be paid damages 'no less than $200,000 for breach of contract'

According to Raven, PHNTM's CEO, Gabriel Fraboni, allegedly contacted the company in November 2023 "to apologize for lack of payment and proposed a biweekly payment plan of $18,000.00 to resolve the issue," but "PHNTM failed to make any payments under the plan."

"Raven performed its obligations under the contract by ordering materials and fabricating the cube. PHNTM breached the contract by failing to pay the agreed amount or to reimburse Raven for its costs of materials," claims the event management company.

It adds, "As a result of PHNTM’s breach, Raven suffered damages of no less than $200,000, exclusive of fees and interest."

Raven is seeking a jury trial and the payment of damages "no less than $200,000 for breach of contract, no less than $96,732.00 for fraudulent inducement, and additional damages for tortious interference with contract and business relations, deceptive trade practices, unjust enrichment, and quantum meruit."

In addition, Raven demands that the defendants cover all associated costs, fees, and legal counsel.

Although Diddy is named in the scrapped project lawsuit, it's probably the least of his concerns as he is already the subject of a federal sex trafficking investigation.

Diddy's accuser Rodney 'Lil Rod' Jones fighting to raise $50K to defend himself against music mogul

Diddy's former producer, Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones, who brought a lawsuit against the music mogul, alleging sexual assault and abuse, created a GoFundMe page to support his legal defense battle.

He put up the donation website on February 5, mere weeks before filing a lawsuit against the Bad Boy Records founder, as per Radar Online

The campaign, titled 'Help Me Sue Sean 'Diddy' Combs', has a total goal of $50,000 but has only been able to raise $3,890 in the two months since its launch.

In the description, Jones wrote, "As you can see and he now knows, I will fight back! Unfortunately, the fight will cost more time, efforts and frustrations, as I attempt to reach the $50,000.00 goal to retain my litigating attorney to put this case in court. I've also been advised this situation could cost as much as $300K should it go to trial."

However, he made no mention of his claims that Diddy had subjected him to "unauthorized groping and touching."
