LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a courtroom drama that unfolded like a suspenseful thriller, the nation watched with bated breath as Michael Cohen, once a trusted confidant in former President Donald Trump’s inner circle, faced the harsh glare of the witness stand.

As the dust settled on Thursday’s testimony, 'Hannity' host Sean Hannity wasted no time in dissecting the day's seismic events.

Sean Hannity's scathing assessment of Michael Cohen's testimony

"Michael Cohen got gutted on the stand today," Hannity's voice resonated with incredulity, a sentiment mirrored by viewers across the political spectrum.

He didn’t mince words, emphasizing, “You heard it from MSNBC and Anderson Cooper at CNN, not exactly a pro-Trump conservative. If I was a juror in this case watching that, I would think this guy is making this up as he’s going along!”

NEW YORK, NY - MAY 30: Michael Cohen, a longtime personal lawyer and confidante for President Donald Trump, leaves the United States District Court Southern District of New York on May 30, 2018 in New York City. According to a filing submitted to the court Tuesday night by special master Barbara Jones, federal prosecutors investigating Cohen are set to receive 1 million files from three of his cellphones that were seized last month. Hannity's tone turned somber as he reflected on the broader implications of Cohen's courtroom implosion.

“This case should never, ever have seen the light of day. This is what a weaponized justice system looks like in America—and it’s not pretty,” he lamented, painting a bleak picture of justice tarnished by political agendas.

Michael Cohen's former attorney Robert Costello's testimony and courtroom drama

Hannity also referenced Cohen’s former attorney, Robert Costello, whose testimony further muddied the waters.

“Michael Cohen’s credibility problems don’t even end there," Hannity pointed out, adding another layer of complexity to the already convoluted trial.

With a meticulous eye for detail, Hannity delved into the dramatic courtroom exchanges.

“The kangaroo court was back in session today, a massive turning point in this trial," he observed.

Drawing a parallel to the iconic courtroom comedy 'My Cousin Vinny', Hannity remarked, “I would say it was a 'My Cousin Vinny' moment: you need positive traction. Anyway, that moment came to life in real time as the so-called star witness, Michael Cohen, just literally crumbled under cross-examination.”

The 90-second phone call

Detailing a pivotal moment involving a 90-second phone call from 2016, Hannity painted a vivid picture. “According to those in the room, jurors literally gasped when Trump’s attorney appeared to catch Cohen in an outright massive lie."

Even mainstream media outlets couldn’t shield Cohen from scrutiny. “According to real-time analysis from CNN, ‘Cohen looks like he made that one call after he saw some records from the prosecution and he just kind of filled in the blank,’” Hannity noted, highlighting the network’s acknowledgment of Cohen’s inconsistent testimony.

Internet says Michael Cohen 'isn't the one on trial'

One user wrote, "Didn't Michael Cohen work a real estate deal for you in Georgia? Tell us about that!"

Another said, "The evidence is corroborated and shown in text, emails, checks, phone calls and by other witnesses. Cohen isn’t the one on trial, Sean."

One said, "Yeah, no. Hannity is wrong again. Cohen looked good on the stand. After all, he already went to prison for his part in this conspiracy."

Another added, "Did he Lying Sean did he really? LOL ok then why are you scared Sexual Predator is going to be found guilty LOL".

One replied, "If that’s your idea of ‘gutted’…you need a dictionary!"
