WASHINGTON, DC: UFC champion Sean Strickland on Tuesday, June 2, marked the start of Pride Month by sharing an AI-generated video showing him brutally beating a Dylan Mulvaney lookalike inside a UFC octagon.

The fighter used the clip, which concludes with a Bud Light branding sequence, as a platform to mock the beer brand and the LGBTQ community.

In the video, a character resembling influencer Dylan Mulvaney is seen inside the cage wearing a pink dress and gloves while fighting Strickland. The AI-generated footage shows the champion landing a powerful kick and several punches before finishing the opponent with a series of knee strikes.

As the character lies on the floor, a referee intervenes to stop the match.

The clip then transitions into an advertisement labeling Bud Light as the “Official Sponsor of UFC.”

Strickland shared the video on Instagram with the caption, “I’ve yet to see one rainbow flag. We’re back!!!” while tagging the beer company's official account.

The post appeared to be a direct jab at the brand, referencing its 2023 partnership with the transgender creator, which triggered a massive boycott led by figures such as Kid Rock and other conservatives.

Sean Strickland posts anti-LGBTQ Pride Month message

The fighter did not stop with the video. On the social media platform X, he continued his commentary by writing, “Say what you want about Trump but June has got far less gay.”

The message accompanied his Instagram activity and reflected his ongoing efforts to align his public persona with anti-LGBTQ sentiment and political polarization.

Throughout the exchange, the fighter made it clear that he intended the content as a celebration of his stance against the inclusion and visibility typically associated with Pride Month.

Sean Strickland's history of controversial remarks

It should be noted that Strickland is well known for using his platform to voice controversial views on race, gender, and politics.

This latest stunt follows a pattern of inflammatory behavior, including previous remarks regarding transgender issues and controversial comments about public figures such as Charlie Kirk.

As the current middleweight champion, who recently defeated Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 328 to reclaim his title, Strickland continues to leverage his status in the sport to amplify his social and political messages despite the significant backlash they often attract.

Meanwhile, it should also be noted that neither the beer giant nor the influencer's representatives have responded to the video.
