LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Selena Gomez might’ve been the queen of grace at the 2025 Golden Globes, but fans couldn’t stop dragging her fiance Benny Blanco for what might just be the “nastiest” habit ever caught on camera.

Selena, 32, was a treat for the eyes as she hit the red carpet at The Beverly Hilton. She rocked a dreamy baby blue Prada gown, complete with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a Cinderella-style skirt. Benny, 36, was right by her side and the two looked all kinds of loved-up.

But things might have gotten a little uncomfortable during host Nikki Glaser’s opening monologue. The comedian couldn’t resist poking fun at Selena and Benny. “Selena Gomez is here, double nominee tonight for 'Emilia Perez' and 'Only Murders', and she’s here tonight with her new fiance Benny Blanco,” she joked.

As the cameras kept cutting to Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, fans started noticing something rather distracting. Benny was chomping on gum, and not just any kind of chewing—this was a no-holds-barred, wide-mouth, zero-discretion chewing as the camera closed up on him, the Daily Mail reported.

The two partied it up with big names like Nicole Avant and Netflix’s Ted Sarandos.

Not to forget the 'Only Murders in the Building' reunion moment that had fans cracking up. Selena’s co-star Martin Short spotted her engagement ring and immediately grabbed her hand, pretending to yank the ring off. He then held it up like he’d just won the lottery.
