Stephen Colbert's playful warning to Benny Blanco

The conversation took a humorous turn when Stephen Colbert, known for his quick wit, inquired about their relationship's future.

"If you don’t mind me asking, where is this relationship going?" he asked, catching Gomez off-guard.

"I thought you were going to ask where this picture was taken!" Gomez joked before adding, "You know what, I’m not sure — but I’m having a great time."

Colbert, addressing Blanco directly through the camera, issued a playful warning.

"Benny? You must think you’re pretty special if you think you can do better than this, okay?" he said.

"And as America’s dad, I want to know what your intentions are with America’s daughter, right over here," he added.

An insider shared that Gomez is "really happy and present" in her relationship with Blanco.

"She seems to be really feeling herself at the moment," the source told People.

"Maybe that’s Benny or maybe that’s just where she’s at personally and professionally," they added.

Blanco has also opened up about their bond, describing Gomez as his "true best friend."

In a November interview with the outlet, the music producer shared that mornings are his favorite time to spend with her.

"We both wake up really early. It’s like our moment before the rest of the world wakes up," he said.
