Shakira says her children's emotional and psychological wellbeing is her priority

When asked if she’ll get back to dating anytime soon, Shakira responded, “What can I tell you, I like men,” the ‘Beautiful Liar’ singer said.

“That’s the problem. I shouldn’t like them with everything that’s happened to me, but imagine how much I like men that I still like them.”

Shakira emphasized, “I think my kids would have to be very prepared for that, and their emotional and psychological well-being is the priority,” she told the outlet.

Shakira is up for casual dating

Shakira, however, suggested that she would consider a more casual dating situation, per PageSix.

The ‘Waka Waka’ crooner admitted that she’d consider casual dating for now, “Hey, I’m not opposed to having friends,” she said.

Shakira and Pique called off their marriage in June 2022, after being together for 11 years. The former pair share two sons Milan, 11, and Sasha, nine.

They announced their separation over a joint statement, “We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect our privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”

Pique moved on with his girlfriend Clara Chia Marti, while Shakira had been linked with famous A-listers, including Lewis Hamilton, and Tom Cruise
