Author Anne Lamott issues apology after facing major backlash over 'snarky' Taylor Swift comment
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Renowned author Anne Lamott has offered an apology in the wake of significant backlash over a "snarky" remark she made about pop star Taylor Swift on X (formerly known as Twitter).
In a post that has since been removed, Lamott reportedly expressed her anticipation for the new year, hoping to see less coverage of the pop icon.
Swift has garnered significant attention this year, thanks to her record-breaking tour, being honored as Time's Person of the Year, her budding romance with Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, and her 34th birthday celebration with a dazzling Opal ring, among other events.
