The episode began as usual with Shannen's voice, but it was Rosa who addressed the listeners after the introduction.

Rosa expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support and kind words from fans following her daughter's death on July 13, sharing that hosting the podcast was something Shannen wanted her to do.

"I am going to be doing my best to try to continue this for her because that's what we discussed she wanted me to do," Rosa said.

"Of course, I'm not her. I could never be her. I'm not as well spoken as she was, but I'm here for all of you," she continued, according to Daily Mail
