Sharon Osbourne breaks down in tears as fans line Birmingham streets for Ozzy's funeral procession

BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND: Thousands gathered in Birmingham, England, on 20 July to honor Ozzy Osbourne more than a week after his death on July 22 at 76.
His wife, Sharon Osbourne, led the emotional funeral procession as she walked alongside their children, including Jack Osbourne and Kelly Osbourne, and other family members.
The event marked a deeply personal farewell to the Black Sabbath frontman in the city where his legacy was born.

Ozzy’s fans were seen lining the streets in Birmingham, England, his hometown, to pay their respects.

Sharon, Kelly and Jack bid emotional farewell to Ozzy Osbourne
Ozzy Osbourne’s coffin was adorned with purple flowers spelling out his name, and fans tossed blooms toward the hearse while chanting, “Ozzy, Ozzy.”

The procession paused at the Black Sabbath Bridge, where the family, including Ozzy’s grandchildren, stepped out for a few minutes to take in the floral tributes and messages left by admirers at the Black Sabbath bridge bench on Birmingham’s Broad Street.

Sharon Osbourne was seen visibly emotional as fans shouted, “We love you, Sharon.” Her daughter Kelly held her hand for comfort while the rest of the family, including Jack, Aimee Osbourne, and Louis Osbourne, gathered close..
Fans shouted, "Sharon, Sharon, Sharon," and "Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy," as she again broke down in tears while laying down flowers, and was again supported by her children.

A live performance by local Birmingham group Bostin’ Brass accompanied the solemn procession.
Fans also left flowers outside Ozzy’s childhood home on Lodge Road in Aston, not far from Villa Park, where he gave his final public performance on July 5.
Sharon Osbourne helped promote Ozzy's last show amid his battle with Parkinson's
Sharon Osbourne was more than just Ozzy Osbourne’s wife. She was also his longtime manager and a constant presence by his side.
Just weeks before his death, Sharon had helped promote his last gig at Villa Park, even as Ozzy remained out of the public eye due to Parkinson’s disease and spinal injuries.

While he did not make public appearances leading up to the show, Ozzy was awarded the Freedom of the City of Birmingham.
During these events, Sharon appeared at several engagements across the city, speaking to fans and helping keep Ozzy’s connection to Birmingham alive.

Ozzy will be laid to rest in a private ceremony on July 30.
