Sharon Stone reveals what it really is to have Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as neighbors
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan Markle, 43, are reportedly being called “isolationists” because of their reserved lifestyle in Montecito, California.
Ever since the couple relocated from England to the US in early 2020, they have made California their home.
While a recent story by Vanity Fair described the couple as “the most entitled,” as reported by Daily Mail, one of their neighbors -- Sharon Stone -- harbors a completely different opinion.
The 66-year-old ‘Basic Instinct’ star recently recalled a sweet encounter one of her friends had with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at a stoplight.
Sharon Stone shares sweet encounter with the Sussexes
Sharon Stone recently shared that one of her friends once ran into the couple while they rode their bikes past her friend’s car, as reported by Express.
Stone revealed that while the exchange was brief, the couple made a friendly wave to her friend who was parked at the stoplight.
"My friend said she was sitting in her car and they bicycled across the street and waved at her while she was sitting at the red light,” revealed the actress.
She continued to praise the royal couple for their effort to give back to the Los Angeles community, as she stated, "They're a part of our community, they've become a giving, caring, participating part of our community."
The couple, known for their humanitarian work, volunteered to help the people displaced by the Los Angeles wildfire, and are known to have opened the doors of their lavish Montecito home to their friends affected by the fire.
Stone reflected on their selfless act, "You know, the thing about them that is so great is they didn't come here to live off of our community, they came here to be a part of our community."
“They're a part of our community, they become a part, a giving, caring, participating part of our community. They're not here, like 'Would you like to kiss my butt?'” continued Stone.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle found Vanity Fair article ‘distressing’
Stone’s glorious recommendations for Harry and Meghan came on the heels of the Vanity Fair article which claimed the Duchess of Sussex could be “really, really awful” when things did not go her way.
They further claimed that the mother-of-two would be “warm and effusive” towards employees before turning “cold and withholding toward the person she perceived to be responsible” if something went wrong.
Another insider said things “went poorly, often due to Meghan and Harry’s own demands.”
Nevertheless, in another article for The Times, a source close to the Sussexes dismissed the claims, while describing the article as “distressing.”
Another insider said that with the postponement of Meghan's new Netflix show and Harry dealing with a tricky court case in the UK, “Things aren’t easy for them right now.”
“Vanity Fair have succeeded in making a bad time worse,” claimed the insider.
