WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump unleashed a late-night tirade targeting Rep Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) following her criticism of his debate performance, which she described as a "manifesto of lies" in an MSNBC interview on Sunday, June 30.

“As you may recall, I tore up his speech at a State of the Union because it was a total manifesto of lies,” she said on Sunday. “And that’s what we saw the other night, which must be rejected as well as his candidacy.”

Nancy Pelosi refuted Trump's incorrect assertion that he intended to deploy troops to the Capitol on January 6, 2021, but was prevented by her, the House Speaker at the time.

She stated that Trump's lack of action led to individuals being harmed and killed at the Capitol, similarly to how his mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in harm and fatalities, Huffpost reports.

“This is a dangerous person and evil,” she told MSNBC.

This appeared to provoke Trump, who responded on his Truth Social platform at approximately 12:30 am on Monday, July 1.

Trump wrote, "Crazy Nancy Pelosi, who the other day was exposed by her daughter, a filmmaker, as being fully responsible for the lack of security on January 6th is, in my opinion, more cognitively impaired than Crooked Joe Biden."

He further added, "I just watched her do an interview, and she was way "off." Additionally, she is suffering from TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS, and her case is terminal! She is a sick "puppy," and always has been!!!"

Nancy Pelosi expresses her support for Joe Biden

Pelosi, along with many observers, remarked that President Joe Biden's performance in the debate was not well-received.

“It was not a good night, let’s face that, in terms of performance for Joe Biden. He’s so much better than that,” she noted that Biden attempted to discuss policies and plans, whereas Trump resorted to falsehoods.

“How can you have a legitimate debate when somebody is totally lying? You have to completely dispel their falsehoods,” she said.

She pondered why the focus was solely on Biden when Trump's conspicuous problems were overlooked.

“This guy’s old. He doesn’t have a stream of thought that is logical,” she said. “And nobody says anything about that, that he can be so disassociated from the facts.”

She expressed her continued support for Biden, whom she believes embodies "integrity and concern for people," in contrast to Trump, who she associates with "dishonesty and self-serving lies."

Nancy Pelosi receives criticism on social media

As soon as the news went viral on social media, users started criticizing Nancy Pelosi. One wrote, "HE IS 100% CORRECT. Pelosi is poison. TERM LIMITS......"

Another user added, "She didn't call out sh!t! She was drunk as fvck on national television. she's going to jail for treason!"

The third commentator wrote, "Have another drink witch. Your brain is almost as gone as Bidens."

"Give me a break. She is a drunk. Nobody cares what she says," a person said.
